Williwaw Campground
Description
Keep your eyes peeled at Williwaw Campground in the Chugach National Forest because there is a lot to see! After settling into your tent or small RV site, head to the fish viewing platform (especially in August!), and watch the spectacle of the salmon spawning in Williwaw Creek. You might also catch a glimpse of moose, bears, mountain goats, bald eagles, and even wolves if you are lucky. Then head down to see the Portage Glacier and its iceberg offspring in the nearby Portage Lake. Nature trails, including the Trail of Blue Ice are nearby for hiking and biking. In short, this campground is awesome!
