Clear Creek Campground
Description
From the minute you enter the Clear Creek Recreation Area you’ll be scheming how to stay a little longer. Known as “The Land of a Thousand Lakes,” Clear Creek is within the Sipsey Wilderness area, an area visibly marked by its geographical makeup. Sandstone and limestone layers cut with streams create the mystic waterfalls, and old-growth forests span the perimeter of Lake Smith. Tent campers can enjoy a lakeside site set-up but all campers will want to be prepared with a cooler-on-wheels when planning a day trip to the beach.
