Our six-acre solar-powered goat farm is a quiet and peaceful slice of paradise away from the chaos and noise but close to so many places to adventure. Spring is in the air and goats are having kids (babies). Visit during May through July and play with lots of baby goats! We have 7 so far. Feed and play with the goats, picnic along our grass-covered brook, hang out around the large fire pit, and rejuvenate while being close to the many Smoky and Blue Ridge Mountain activities. We have two custom-built RV pads with 15 and 30-amp service plus water and four grass tent locations overlooking a small brook in a forest-shaded park-like setting. Internet is provided by Starlink Business - high speed, low latency, and great for remote workers. We provide solid service throughout the entire property. Work from the top of a mountain!! IP service is available throughout the property - perfect for Van Life or van living. 200-300 down and at least 20-30 up!! Nearby are numerous hiking trails, lakes, waterfalls, and other outdoor activities such as tubing, white water rafting, and boating. If you want to chill, you can check out a local swimming hole, We have several options for our guests at the farm, including a small zipline, farm activities, loop trail, massage services (20+yr licensed), spring trail, wine tastings, weekly outdoor movies (on request), and our petting area where you can interact with very friendly goats. RV/CAR/VANLIFE We can help by recommending and using local mechanics, on-site RV repair (they come to us), solar and power troubleshooting, and good old-fashioned southern kindness. STORMS/BAD WEATHER Located on the campground is a tiny home shed that is being converted to a studio but is open and available during harsh weather.

Grass Tent #4

We had a great vacation!

My husband and I had a great time camping at Candy Mt. Goat Farm! It was a small, intimate experience, while giving you both the comfort of being close-ish to town in case you forgot anything, but secluded enough to feel like you had your own private piece of land to camp on. We Were right beside the plumbed outhouse, and there were 2 other place to use the restroom if needed. They have camper/RV on site that you can use, or a bathroom attached to their home/store, but that bathroom is only open during certain times. Scott was an incredible host, and went above and beyond to make sure we have the best stay possible. When a storm was coming, he made sure to stop by our tent with a weather update, and where to go to seek shelter if needed. There's zero cell phone service, but they provide wifi, which was surprisingly fast and surpassed my expectations.

Car Camper Pad

Love, Love my stay at the goat farm!! So quiet and peaceful. The chickens and goats were so cute and not too noisy. The outhouse was clean with flushing toilet and close to all the sites. Would recommend this to anyone who just want to hangout and just be. They do have trails also for hiking. Gonna definitely come back when I can!!! Oh, they have a gift shop where you can buy goat socks and candles which I bought 3 for me and my girls. Thumbs up for Scott the host!!!😎☮️❤️👍

Car Camper Pad

Scott is an excellent host. This property is quiet and peaceful. I'm parked beside a small stream with cows on the other side of the fence. The goats are adorable! I have my dog with me and it's been no problem. Hot shower and flush toilet was a big bonus especially at this price. I will definitely be back when I'm in this area again.

Awesome tenting..

Scott was a great host..the goats were too..had trouble leaving :). We were camping and star watching. I also got some delightful goats milk soap made on property. Thanks so much!
