Unique limestone formations can be found on the property. Large birds and even an eagle or two seem to prefer this area for hunting. Watch from a distance as farmers cut hay throughout the summer. This private cliff top setting has 6 newly created camp sites on 5 Acres. Enjoy less crowds and more nature! The long range views or the river and farmlands will take your breath away. At the bottom of the drive you have access to the New River and the New River Trail so bring your bike, or kayak for more fun. Bike the trail, bird watch, or star gaze; the choices are endless. Don't be surprised to see bear, turkey, eagles, deer, or a coyote. PLEASE give us a rating on YELP also if you enjoyed your stay! There is a zoo in nearby Ft. Chiswell. Each site has full hook ups. No tent sites at the present time. Area grocery stores are located about 30 minutes away in Wytheville, Pulaski and Hillsville. Great trip!
We loved it. OMG! the view from site 3 was beautiful! We enjoyed just setting and relaxing, watching the deer play down below , caught a couple beautiful sunsets and was bothered by no one. Site 3 is just right inside the entrance, plenty of room for our 29ft class C with jeep in tow. Full hook up was super convenient. Follow signs you'll have no problem. No doubt we're adding this as one of our favorites. Also while there we enjoyed The Draper Mercantile, The New River state park and Shot Tower State Park ( all of this is right in the area) plus we drove about an hour into North Carolina to Stone Mountain State. Park. Just what we need was a great trip ❤️

Great view
Great level lot with water, elec and sewer. A view of the river that most photos don't do justice. Would definitely stay on Jim's land again.

Awesome View
Site 4 has a wonderful view of the river and the western horizon. The site is level with ample room to back a 22’ trailer into. The W/E/S hookups are on the right side for site 4 making hookups short and convenient. There’s a nice downhill hike or bike ride to the New River trail so it’s very convenient to camp here and have access to the trail. The area behind the campsites had some work going on during our stay but it was no bother to us. The site is safe and quiet with a wonderful view and we sure hope to stay there again.
