Suburban Beach Get-Away
Disappointed
As far as being close to Folly Beach, it is a short ride to Folly. However, the accommodations did not match the pictures presented. There was a pic of the backyard with turquoise chairs looking like it was part of the access space. The backyard had not had any attention regarding mowing, clean up etc. The area we were to back into was close, very close. So close that once the slide out was extended, there was no way to access the back of the camper. Emily suggested that we might not want to extend the slide out all the way out. The water attachment was about 3ft above the ground thru the skirting of her mobile home. This pipe had a lot of “play”in it and I did not feel it was secure. The sewer hookup (5-6 inches above ground on its side) came out from underneath home with 5” pvc pipe with no screw attachment so I was unable to have a secure attachment despite pushing the sewer from the RV as far in this awkward side attachment would allow. It leaked raw sewage. The distance from RV to these attachments all could have allowed extension cord for electric and longer sewer hose to be attached to two links of sewer hose and more water hose. There was no place to be outside the RV. We were able to park our car beside the RV. To access thru the side entrance into our home, we had enough space to balance on our step amid her rose bush plantings. Our dogs even struggled with this. We stayed the one night and left next day. Suburban Beach Get-Away
First, the host Emily was very attentive to all my texts, polite and professional! I loved the spot and it was perfect for my CamperVan. The neighborhood is beautiful with friendly neighbors too! I will 100% be back and highly recommend this camping spot 👌

Perfect spot to park overnight no fuss. The spot was conveniently marked by a big surfboard with the number clearly labeled. Location was about a 7-10 min drive to Foley beach where I found public parking for $2.50 an hour.

Bike friendly and chill
Loved Emily's spot! The site is in a quiet little neighborhood with a great vibe that is an easy bike ride or drive to Folly Beach, the grocery store and several great restraunts! We loved exploring the area on our e bikes and our dog loved walks around the island. Great place by the beach to chill at for a few days

Suburban Beach Get-Away
Emily was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Driveway was narrow so tough to back rig into, but neighborhood was quiet and cute. Sewer was hard to use - it’s up the wall instead of on ground so hard to make gravity work for you! Potable water and electric work well. Convenient location!
