The Creekhouse
What a beautiful cabin with the most comfortable bed! Equipped with everything you could need and Damon is a helpful and friendly host. I will definitely be back and highly recommend to friends and family.

The Creekhouse
Girls' Weekend in the Woods
My three girls (10, 6, and 2 years) and I had a great time! The Creekhouse is right in front of the community area, where the creek swimming hole and zipline swing are located. Behind the Creekhouse is a private fire pit area. There are 2 nearby compost toilets, one attached to the house and one up the hill. It also has a wash area (for dishes and showering), but we did not use it. There is a space heater, but we still needed our sleeping bags to stay warm in the 45 degree weather.
We enjoyed most playing with the other kids in the swimming hole. I brought floats, water guns, and buckets for playing in the sandy beach. When Damon opens the dam, the swimming hole becomes a shallow creek that they kids can swing over. It was great! We also enjoyed exploring the woods. Damon even took the kids around in his UTV. I appreciated being shown favorite flowers.
If we are able to come again, I will bring a blow-up mattress to make the futon more comfy and more changes of clothes for the kids.

The Creek House (With Kids)
The Creek House was such a cool place for my family to stay for a fairly primitive experience, but with four walls! During our stay, we never left the property because the kids were having too much fun playing in the creek, swinging over the little pond and exploring the woods!
Word to the wise, if you're visiting when nights are going to be cold, come prepared! Even with a heater going, it gets COLD in there! But it was totally worth it for the light, airy feeling that you're in more than a tent, less than a cabin, and still a part of the woods!
I do recommend that the host get a latch for the bottom set of windows next to the futon over the creek if renting out to families as the windows swinging open so easily felt a bit hazardous for little ones, but we just kept a close eye on them and didn't have NY of the kids actually sleep on the futon.
Overall, though, we had an amazing stay! All my kids (ages 3, 6, 9, and 14) had a great time, and it is quite the task to please them all at the same time! Damon, the camp host, is super friendly and helpful, and the property is just super cool!

Rainbow Point
Damon was super kind and all of the built things on the property were awesome. We booked rainbow point so we were pretty secluded but didn’t feel too far away from anything. Definitely a great place to camp since we are all pretty inexperienced.
