Sauna
A little haven of warmth and relaxation.
Come stay at our little sustainable farmstead amid the beautiful rolling hills of southern Ohio! Our peaceful 20 acres has a good mix of woods, wild meadows and maintained cleared areas as well as a small pond, all of which can be explored via our nature trail. Enjoy the sounds of nature and an incredible night sky. Farm fresh eggs and fresh produce are available for purchase during the growing season and firewood is available all year round. There is also a wonderful sauna on the property that can be reserved. Great hiking, kayaking, biking, birding, fishing, swimming, and disc-golfing opportunities just a few miles away at Paint Creek State Park and the Highland Nature Sanctuary. Amish country is also just 15 minutes away with a great bakery, markets and greenhouses. This area is home to an impressive network of ancient earthworks including the world famous Serpent Mound. Our accommodations range from primitive tent-camping to "glamping" in one of our tiny off-grid cabins. The sites are spaced out for privacy and each site offers a private picnic table and fire pit. There are two shared privies/outhouses which have basic composting toilets. A grassy parking area is provided near the road, however, ALL SITES ARE WALK-IN ONLY. Greenfield (5 miles north) is the nearest town and has two grocery stores, restaurants, a bar, hardware, gas, etc. Bainbridge (7 miles south) has gas, hardware, a couple of restaurants, dollar store, amish businesses, etc.

The Whole Darn Place
100% 10/10!! The property has everything you’d ever need while camping. As you enter the property you’re greeted by a small farm stand and a beautiful vegetable garden. From there the beauty only increases as you explore the property. There is a gazebo stocked with cooking supplies, rainwater sink and so much more. The pond is clean with a cute little dock with two Adirondack chairs for watching the red wing black birds play and the gold fish swim. There is a big wooden stage on the property as well that our kiddos put on plays, sang songs and danced on from sun up to sun down. Each tent site is flat with plenty of room to set up a large tent, canopy, table and more. The Paw Paw trail takes you around the rest of this glorious property. There isn’t a thing we would change about the property. We made this trip with four other families and they all told us their families made memories that will stay with them forever. We will definitely be back again. Thanks Aimee!

Site 4 (juniper meadow)
It was mostly quiet, but during the night there were two dogs barking back and forth. One of which I assume came from a property nearby. Be weary of that if you stay in camp site 4 or 5. Otherwise just a clean pretty place, good for kids and just running around and enjoying nature for a night.

Site 3 (woodland gully)
We enjoyed our stay at site 3! Close to the pond and the potty for the kids and I. We really enjoyed watching the turtles, koi fish and frogs at the pond! We were visited by the barred owls and a racoon at night too. Overall, a good experience for our first camping trip. Aimee was friendly and pleasant. We also really enjoyed the walking paths on the farm, from a juniper Grove to typical Ohio forest and a little bit of prairie. She also brought us by some of their fresh eggs. Our site was enough in the woods where it felt semi-private. The kids all wanted to come back another time. It was also fun being close to Paint Creek and fishing for my son.
