Learn more about this land: This is a quiet area away from heavy traffic. Homes are 200 yards away and are not noticeable unless your looking for them. We have a small herd of American Bison that can be viewed from campsites. Just don't try being friends with them. Bison are wild animals and will charge if provoked. 1 rv site is level and the other area is not. First come first serve for level spot. Blueberries are self pick and self pay at locking mailbox June till August. Picnic table and charcoal grill are on right side of driveway under large oak tree in tent area.

Site 1 - Piedmont Bison Ranch

Camping with Bison!

We had a great time camping at Piedmont Bison Ranch. Tommy, our host, was quick to respond to our questions, and had our site ready to go on arrival. His property is secluded and private, and it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere (which is what we wanted!) but is only 20 minutes from civilization. We were able to see the stars and the Northern lights with no light pollution. The bison herd was incredible to watch…from a safe distance, of course. They are behind fences (obviously) so they aren’t a threat unless you provoke them. Waking up to a buffalo 20 feet from our camper window reminded us of being out west! If you’re looking for a quiet place to camp and enjoy nature and some majestic animals, this is the place you should pick! Thanks, Tommy, for being the perfect host (available but not intrusive) and for sharing your beautiful land and amazing bison with us!

Site 1 - Piedmont Bison Ranch

We will be back

What a perfect campsite. The site is private but still not that far off the beaten trail. Easy to get to and you feel like you are on your own private farm. The bison are there each morning which was great. At night by the campfire owls were hooting and keeping us company. Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot, right next to the Buffalo. Quiet area, peaceful. Tom was super chill and accommodating. Great spot to feed to Buffalo, which was awesome.

Private and Quiet

Really enjoyed our stay. Observing the bison was an amazing first for all of us. 30A electric and water worked flawlessly. Already talking about a second stay. Host met us first day and then respected our privacy. Perfect.

Site 2 - Piedmont Bison Ranch

I loved it!!

I loved this farm. The bison were interesting to watch and we were up close, but still a safe distance. It was great having hookups and not many people there!! Tommy, the host answered our bison questions and checked on us once a day, but was not intrusive. I’d go back!
