Upper Shire Meadow
A private retreat in the Berkshires
I was absolutely blown away by my experience at Joanna's land. She met me on arrival, helped me park my camper, and gave me many tips about the land. She was warm, welcoming, and friendly.
I typically try to avoid Hipcamps where there may be multiple guests, but I felt absolutely isolated. The setup of each site gave everyone privacy, and I couldn't have been happier.
There were so many thoughtful small touches from signs to cleared trails to solar-powered string lights that just made the stay even more special.
I'll definitely be returning!

1987 Airstream at Tin Can Valley
A relaxing Memorial Day weekend.
Our family of four loved this place. The space was huge and private. The Airstream housed us four comfortably. Did a little canoeing in the pond. Enjoyed the campfire and the hammocks. Will definitely be back. The shower house in construction now will be a big plus!

Pine Grove Bell Tent
Great spot with wonderful people
We went with our puppy and had a fantastic time in the Bell tent. The tent was roomy and a lantern & power bank was included. Joanna even provided an air mattress for us which had a built in air pump for ease of use. Water & wood was provided and the fire pit with chairs was great. The grounds were great to explore and check out. Would highly recommend this to others! Very excited to see how they add to the camping experience for years to come!

Pondside Meadow
Shenanigans Squad Weekend 2024
Joanna's property is almost perfect, but honestly it's perfect......It's perfectly situated on a quiet road, with 22 acres and 5 sites to fit your style of get away. We opted for the pond side spot because our group of 6 camped in a 24' camper, a square drop and a tent. The site is huge we had 5 cars and 2 campers with still plenty of room to run around. Joanne provided 2 hammocks set up for us on stands, a fire pit with 2 Adirondack chairs and a 5 gallon jug of potable water. Porta potty was very clean and close by even though we shared with the bell tent. We ordered wood and it was waiting for us when we arrived all snug in a protected wood bin so it stayed dry in bad weather. I would love to stay again up on the hill next time.
Not a fan of camping no problem she has a bell tent an A frame and even an Airstream. It was a fantastic find and the ladies weekend was gorgeous weather, perfect for a mid afternoon nap. We honestly have zero complaints...Joanne also checks in on you to make sure all is going well, not at all overbearing or uncomfortable. We even shared a cocktail with her. Overall....we would rate this spot a 9.9, I did say almost perfect...we did not have a picnic table and maybe I skimmed where it said there was no table (it didn't hurt our stay) but it was a bit chaotic cooking for 6 people and only 2 camping stove tables. STILL A TOTAL WINNER!!!!!

1987 Airstream at Tin Can Valley
The airstream is so cute and convenient. Our group booked it along with the Upper Shire campsite and it made for a great joint glamping/camping experience. Everything was clean and well-maintained, including the porta potties!
