Our 80-acre property has been inhabited since the 1860's (that's how old the house is), but the north ~30 acres have remained forested and contain fern groves, sugar maples we tap for syrup, a small freshwater spring, wild turkeys and deer. Another ~20 acres are pasture, with lots of birds (sometimes rare ones!) and wildflowers. Our farmhouse, firewood, barn, chicken coop and vegetable garden are all closer to the road - the pond, birch grove, and berry patch are more secluded. Learn more about this land: We are a small family "farm" with lots of spare acreage to camp on. Pitch a tent close to our barn to be near the goats, pigs, chickens, or highland cattle, a bit farther out to be near the secluded pond and berry bushes - or way out in the 20 acres of wildflower fields or 30 acres of woods that house deer, fox, and rabbits!We are a small family "farm" with lots of spare acreage to camp on. Everything you could need!
Beautiful location and even more amazing host! The camping area was cleared perfectly and had tons of room for hammocks, tents and canopies. Lisa lent us her electric chainsaw to cut some extra firewood and came out to check on us. Perfect mix of covered area for shade and rain coverage and field to use for Cornhole! We'll definitely be back.

Easy to find, options for parking
Easy to locate Lisa's property, she met us as we pulled up, along with her family. We got hit with a sudden downpour, Lisa gave us some options for setting up, and then allowed us to park next to a new shelter, where we could enter/exit the trailer without getting wet. A very peaceful evening, Lisa invited me to watch the goat milking, and it was an education. She had a rhubarb pie ready for us, can't wait to try it. She also gave us a sampler of goat cheese spread. We hope to visit again!

AMAZING land & Host!
This spot was incredible! My absolute favorite Hipcamp experience thus far. I can’t say enough good things about Lisa. She made us feel so welcome and even let us tag along on some of her farm chores. The land itself is beautiful and very private. Getting to visit with the animals was an added bonus. Just a dream of a trip. Thank you, Lisa!
