Walk to the Beach! Welcome to southern Santa Cruz County, home of some of the longest and most beautiful beaches in central California. We are located in La Selva Beach, a five-minute walk to Manresa State Beach. We are a small, working farm with vegetable and flower gardens, chickens and bees. There are many excellent places to hike, walk, surf, swim, tide pool or just sit and enjoy the view. We offer two quiet campsites with fantastic views of the three hundred acres of strawberry fields that back up to or property. Our campsites provide water and electric hookups and are most appropriate for self-contained recreational vehicles and trailers. One of the sites has no size constraints on RVs or trailers. Our Valley View site is limited to rigs 26 feet long or less. We do have a well serviced porta potty on the property, but no showers or sinks. We love to host guests and will provide information about things to do and see in our area. We often loan our State Parks pass so that you can venture out to Point Lobos, Wilder Ranch, Sunset Beach, Natural Bridges and more. Our property is peaceful and restorative. Our two sites are about 30 yards apart. Each camp site includes a fire pit and a bundle of wood. Surf boards, Boogey boards and wetsuits are available for rent from the surf shop on site. We are 15 minutes from the village of Capitola, 30 minutes from downtown Santa Cruz and 45 minutes to Monterey. There is a Dump station 5 minutes down the road at the KOA (for a fee).

Peaceful Site With Excellent Hosts
We enjoyed our time at Robin and Ray’s land. It was very quiet and relaxing and a short walk down to the oceanside. We can’t wait to come back and stay again in the future!

Beautiful stay away from home
The scenery is amazing! It’s a great location for a quick walk to the beach but is also a perfect location to go into Santa Cruz and Monterey. Robin and Ray are excellent hosts. They were really welcoming/sweet and provided us with great recommendations. We highly recommend this place!

Lovely Host
Perfect place to rest our heads for the night! Host was lovely and hospitable. We got in quite late so we didn’t get to see much, and we had to head out pretty early, while it was gloomy and foggy. But overall, it was a nice stay. Highly recommend for an overnight stay!

We stayed here for 1 night. We loved how close this place is to a beautiful beach. Robin and Ray made sure we had everything we needed. When we arrived there were even toys for the kids to play with and lots of firewood so we enjoyed a good fire for the whole evening. Ray showed our kids their chickens and bees. Loved it.

Valley View
This was my first Hipcamp experience and it didn’t disappoint. Excellent hosts, Ray and Robin were very welcoming and helpful with recommendations to activities and restaurants. Our stay was super relaxing. In the morning we woke up to a symphony of birds singing and in the evening out in the fields we saw a parade of wildlife. The beach was a quick five minute walk. The site had electric and water hook ups and free firewood. Lastly, Robin surprised us with a bag of delicious home made muffins. We will definitely return and stay longer next time.
