#9 - Walk into Forest
We’ve stayed at Jug Handle multiple times and always enjoy our stay. This was our first time staying at site 9. It felt nice and private!

#9 - Walk into Forest
Fun time camping at site 9: 10/10:)
Me and my friends had a great time at site 9 on Sarah’s land! Beautiful drive up there, very close to the beach, if you take a back trail you can get there with in 15 minutes on foot. 5 minute drive. We were closer to neighbors than expected but it went well regardless:). The thick trees helped block against a lot of the wind so even though it was really windy in town it wasn’t as bad at our site. We saw lots of turkeys at the camp site. They sell firewood for a good price but my friends and I were able to just use sticks and logs from fallen branches and use paper towels and card bored to make the fire instead. It worked well. Porta potties were stocked well with toilet paper but we brought some of our own to be safe. One of the porta potties by our site even had a hand washing station so that was nice:) Overall the land was beautiful and in a lovely costal town, we had a blast!(worth the price for the amount of fun we had:)

#3 - Grandma's Wild Woods
nice spot will probably be back
Overall was a great site. beautiful area just outside of town. next time I will definitely stay longer. if you stay at 3 just know that it's pretty far from the one running water source on the campground. the best part is the really close Beach access although there were a lot of people with their dogs off leash. Oh and there was some construction happening on the day we were leaving thankfully, so keep in mind that there may be work being done close to the time of this review.

#7 - Large Sunny Family Spot
Site 7 was great; a lovely spot with a daisy flower bed for our tent. The 10 min walk to the beach led us to a gorgeous beach, with crashing waves at sunset. We loved it. It was a great place and will continue to get better - The trail signage and map could be better. They are building bathrooms and showers for the future.

#9 - Walk into Forest
gorgeous stay w wonderful staff! i stayed at campsite #9 and had a wonderful experience! the site had it’s own fire ring and was a short (and beautiful) walk to the beach. the onsite firewood purchasing was incredibly convenient. the location being right off Hwy 1 was also very nice! highly recommend!

#4 - Big Meadow, Power & Water
We camped in a travel trailer on a lovely site that was marred a bit by ongoing construction. We were grateful to have water and electricity, but wished the port-a-johns were emptied more frequently. It's a pleasant spot located between Mendocino and Ft. Bragg.
