Good Roadsted Stop With No Frills
If you're just looking for a roadsted stop or place to basecamp for Yosemite then this is a less expensive option and works just fine. It was clean and close to Oakhurst and Yosemite. Some complain about road noise from the main road below but that didn't really bother us. That said, the sites for travelers are located on a dirt road and the people who live in the camp full-time have no issue with speeding right past your unit throwing up dust and rocks. And, since there's really no room beside the site you can't really sit outside and enjoy nature. But...it worked for us as we wanted just a place to sleep while we explored the surrounding areas during the day.

Bleh.
I literally pulled my car in and it was so bleh. No scenery. Just a row of parking spots, a hook up, and thats it. This would be great if you literally just need a place to park but cmon we’re right next to Yosemite. The last thing I want when coming back from somewhere gorgeous is to park literally right next to the highway. I didn’t even sleep there the first night. I found a camp ground very close to the park. A gazillion time better and it was free.

There was a little mixup at first with being moved to a different campsite, but overall we enjoyed our stay at Granite Mountain! Clean bathrooms, great location (only 15 minutes from Yosemite NP and Oakhurst is great!), and the host was nice and accommodating! We did see a bear here our first night!

Gotta love the road noise
Not much more than gravel and electricity, and cars driving up the mountain at full speed. I would have been better off in a Walmart parking lot.
