Enjoy the sounds of nature and the sweet babbling brook while overlooking a natural, organic, no-till farm. This experience is only minutes from Asheville, Lake Lure, and Chimney Rock, North Carolina.Escape the ordinary and embrace nature at our campsite located on our organic vegetable farm. Nestled in the heart of The Great Smoky Mountains, Marion, NC, our tranquil haven offers a unique blend of comfort and wilderness. Get ready to unwind under starry skies, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. Adventure surely awaits! Guests will enjoy 5 acres to themselves but may see us occasionally working in our veggie fields during the day! The campsite is secluded and private but has a neighboring farm through the woods. The campsite offers a picnic table, firepit, charcoal grill, propane cook stove, water cooler station, enclosed bathroom with rustic composting toilet, a beautiful creek, and a solar power station to provide electricity, light and phone charging capability. There is a rain tarp onsite to cover the platform in case you are blessed with a bit of precipitation while you stay! We provide cooking equipment, a Coleman cook stove (propane not provided), utensils, 2 oversized cots with mattresses (rearrangeable to your preference), pillows and light blankets for 2 people, clean drinking water, fire extinguisher and many other necessities you may need while you enjoy the beautiful outdoors. During the cooler months, the bell tent has a cozy wood burning stove inside to provide warmth and romance to your organicamp experience. We can provide you with extra goodies like farm fresh eggs, organic produce, and dried and split firewood for a fee. Just click on "extras" before you book with us and these things will be waiting for you when you arrive! If you are bringing your beloved pet, please add the $10 per pet/per night fee that is also found in the "Extras" section before you book. No pets or shoes inside the tent. Thank you! This camp is located 15 minutes from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock, NC. You can be in Black Mountain in 15 minutes or Asheville in 25 minutes. Marion offers many hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, tubing, shopping, and dining opportunities. McDowell County offers many microbrew locations such as Hillman Beer and Mica Town Brewery. You can shop local on Saturdays at the Marion Tailgate Market downtown where Farmer Sprout sells her fresh and homemade sourdough bread, produce, and microgreens. You deserve to enjoy this refreshing and organic experience.
