High Desert Stargazing Tent
Perfect glamping experience
We loved this property and Jan and Chuck were great hosts. The outdoor kitchen and shower were so fun, the yurt was comfortable and we enjoyed laying by the pool and hanging out and playing pool in the evening. We were able to see the northern lights during our stay and that was really special.

Fantastic accommodation in the TP-Tent. Enough cross breeze to cool down the tent after a hot day. It was great having electricity to the tent to be able to run the fan and also re-charge all the devices. Not to mention the comfortable King size bed!
Jana and Chuck are lovely hosts and very helpfull.
The property itself has basic cooking facilities, but we did find everything we needed, incl. a BBQ. The outdoor shower is refreshing and does have hot water. We found the location great to explore the differenct sides of Joshua Tree National Park and also quite central to go to Palm Sprints and Pioneer Town. Had stunning sunsets and sunrises and did cool off in the shade by the pool after a long day hiking. If you like off the beaten track accommodation and don't need the glizt and glamour, this place is for you.

We loved the yurt camping! About 20-30 minutes from the park entrance and close to a market. The yurt was clean and a lot more spacious than expected. Showers and kitchen space are communal. The saddle bar was very cool. It was very windy and cold at night but there was a small space heater and extra blankets.

Jana was very helpful and kind. We stayed in the yurt. The bed was comfortable and it was clean. The grounds were clean and had the amenities that had been stated. The only thing that was disappointing was the pool was not open for use, this could be because it was not in season. The one recommendation we would have is tonight use such strong, smelling cleaner or air freshener in the yard as it was very overpowering if you are sensitive to chemical Perfume smells. Will also say that it is a bit of a drive if you’re going into Joshua tree national park, it was about a half hour. This would be a great place to stay if you had a large amount of people and really wanted to take advantage of the pool table, for shoes, etc.

High Desert Camping
Janna was the epitome of hospitality and helped our first stay in Joshua tree very memorable. Had a grill outside for us to cook our food and a heated to warm up where we stayed as well
