Enjoy a secluded lakeside campsite with two points of water access. There are no other sites on this 13 acre property, so it's very private. Complimentary canoe and stand up paddle boards for your use. New York State hiking trails just one mile down the road, plus lots of other activities like rail biking and rafting a short drive away. The campsite is just 100 steps down a well-marked trail accessible from the parking spot. Pitch your tent on the elevated platform encircled in pine trees with a view of the lake. Next to the tent area you’ll find a solar shower, picnic table, Cleanwaste toilet in outhouse, fire pit and Adirondack chairs. The site comes equipped ample firewood, fire starters, and many kitchen items including plates, bowls, utensils, cups, frying pan, can opener, wine opener, salt and pepper, cooking tongs, dish wash basin, and dish soap. Down by the stream you'll find a fire ring with a cooking grill and outdoor seating. Inside the A frame you're provided with authentic oil lanterns and flashlights, gas cook stove, kitchen ware, food storage cooler and small table and chairs. 14 gallons of potable water is provided with a nearby stream for additional supplies. There is a small corner loo inside the A frame with a flushing RV type toilet and also a comfortable Adirondack outhouse with an ecological waste removing system. Although the A frame is unheated, there is a small propane space heater to take off the chill of a cool Adirondack evening. This 5-acre quiet paradise is surrounded by on site walking trails where the only sounds are the owls and an occasional airplane.
