Welcome, to the Meadery, we are a working winery with several other interests to investigate as well. Come learn about making Mead. We have an annual cider press in late September or early October as well. Want to learn how to Roast your own coffee bean? Or maybe you are competitive and want to race 132 or 124 slot cars on a Carrera 124 Digital Track. There is also a nice walk in the woods, and if it is hot you can float down the Deschutes River that is very close by. Pitch your tent in a few areas you pick, there are Mountain Bike and Little kid ATV trails around the property as well. For more extensive ATV trails Capital Forest is about 30 minutes away. If you have a Weyerhaeuser permit for the area near me the gate is 2.5 miles away. There is a winery on site and an outside tasting area with a fire pit. Two bathrooms with showers. There are powered and non-powered RV sites. Water is available at the water station but not directly at the camp sites. We are pet friendly. We offer firewood for sale on site, camp fires permitted outside of a burn ban. Guests love staying here: "Dean's acreage is a dream! We stayed there in our motorhome and absolutely loved it. We have two dogs and they are picky about making friends but adored Deans dogs. They are the sweetest and make the camping even more enjoyable. Dean was kind enough to show us his Meadery and the property so we felt comfortable exploring and walking around. We would definitely recommend it for other campers whether you have an RV, tent, van, etc. For reference we comfortably parked our 31 ft motorhome and we were able to hookup to electricity (only available in one spot so inquire with dean!). There is a shower and toilet available for use in a separate building from his home in the backyard."Pitch your tent in a few areas you pick. Additional RV location with power is also available.

Beautiful location and great host

Dean was an absolutely wonderful host! He graciously welcomed us as he walked us through his property and shared his mead. The location is beautiful. The best part are Jake and Zoe - the furry greeters - were so very sweet!!!. I would highly recommend Dean’s place. As a heads-up: the lat/long in HipCamp took us to the wrong location and there is a “private road” sign at the turn to Dean’s place, which you should ignore (but drive slowly to respect the neighbor’s).

Perfect place for calm and peace

We loved staying on the proberty at Honeysuckle Meadery. Dean was a pleasent and helpful host. The property is a quiet serene spot nestled in the woods. Our dogs had a ton of safe space for them to run, sniff and relax in. We followed directions to the Meadery with Google Maps. We arrived all in 1 piece happy to relax. It had been a long hot day. We immediately felt peace and quiet slow us down. So happy to have found you Dean. Thank you

Honeysuckle Meadery

Fantastic spot

Absolutely loved camping on Deans property with my boyfriend and our dog. Large spacious campsite with fire pit. Bathroom with shower … lovely land. Everything you would ever need for a great stay We got to spend time with Dean and see the meadery. Left with new knowledge about mead and went home with some wine and coffee. He had two amazing dogs that were friendly and kept ours occupied :) Dean even brought us a hot cup of coffee in the morning before we came home The best part of hipcamp is the connections you can make and stories and time you get to spend with others while camping and enjoying the outdoors I would absolutely stay here again and plan to do so .. highly recommend

Honeysuckle Meadery

Great host

One of the nicest people I’ve ever met, Dean really made me and my sa feel welcome. The spots he has are very quiet and close to two towns if you need supplies. He has a more remote spot I will do next time. Camping with running hot water and a shower made the stay really nice. I’ll definitely be back sometime.
