Shine and Rise Farm Forest site
Best camping experience
The hosts greeted us so warmly! Our site was clean and ready for us to get set up. They made sure we had everything we needed before they left us to get settled. Our site was very private and we never heard any of the other guests that were there. We are going back this year for sure!!

Shine and Rise Farm Forest site
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Shine and Rise Farm, and I must say, it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment we arrived, the vastness of the space struck me. The campsite offers plenty of room to spread out, which made our stay feel very private and serene. The natural beauty of the surroundings was breathtaking, with well-maintained grounds that blend seamlessly into the landscape.
The atmosphere at the campsite was incredibly calm and peaceful, perfect for a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life. It was just what we needed to recharge and enjoy the simplicity of nature.
Additionally, the hospitality provided by Jay's family was heartwarming. His daughter made sure we felt welcome and was so knowledgeable about the land.
I highly recommend this site to anyone looking for a scenic, spacious, and peaceful camping experience. It's ideal for families, couples, or anyone wanting to escape into nature. We can't wait to return for another memorable adventure

Shine and Rise Farm Forest site
Impromptu camping trip
I liked the privacy and tranquility of the camp site. Jay was an outstanding host: I only booked the site hours before as it was an impromptu trip. He led us to our spot, had few rules (more common sense stuff plus health tips to be mindful of poison ivy and don’t eat any surrounding mushrooms).
We were left to our own which I enjoyed immensely. The boys, the dog and I would come back.

Shine and Rise Farm Forest site
Camping under the stars
Jay's land was amazing. We were in a very private location and felt very safe. No road noise, sky full of stars, and sounds of nature ❤️
Also, Jay was sweet enough to leave us fresh pears 🙌 best camping ever.
(There were a lot of daddy long legs, so be sure to pack things up before dark if you can)

Shine and Rise Farm Forest site
This was my favorite camping spot yet! We got to roam around a bit and explore different wildlife that was growing nearby. It was a more secluded camping spot, which we really liked and the landowners left some goodies for us for our stay (lavender, pears, firewood, water hose)
The only thing I would say negative is there were a TON of spiders and daddy long legs all around the campsite once it got dark, which made us alert, but overall a great time!
