Watch the sun come up over the Sleeping Ute Mountain in Colorado and enjoy a gorgeous sunset as the sun sets over the Bears Ears National Monument in Utah. We are off the grid and have no electricity or water. Our graveled camping sites are easy to access. We are located next to a paved road. You do not need high clearance vehicles or 4-wheel drive. Camp in a natural high desert environment consisting of cedar and pinion trees, Brigham tea, sagebrush, etc. Great views of the night sky. An ancient Indian mound is on site. The Five Kiva Ruin and Nations Natural Bridge are within hiking distance. Minutes away is the town of Blanding with restaurants, hospital, gas stations and a dump station. Its only a short drive to five different National Monuments: Bears Ears, Natural Bridges, Rainbow Bridge, Hovenweep, and Canyon of The Ancients. Take a scenic drive over the Blue Mountain and Elk Ridge. Southeastern Utah is full of archeology history to hike and explore.

Fantastic campsite! We were given thorough instructions by Cassie and Stacy, enabling a seamless experience. The campsite is isolated from road noise and is located on a pretty piece of land. We could even see monument valley in the distance.

Convenient and Quiet
Convenient location to Moab if you are in search of a dry camping location for an RV. Our site was plenty long at 60' and nicely leveled. Location was quiet. Located across the road from a ranch. Nice to watch the cows and horses.

Site 1
Very basic amenities at the site but was perfect for dry camping in a trailer. Site one is large enough for just about any size RV. Had no problem parking my 34 foot trailer and truck in it. Site is mostly level. Enjoyed the Mountain View’s and it was very quiet and peaceful at night and allowed a good nights rest. Easy hike down the paved road to the ruins and the natural bridge the following morning.

Beautiful sunsets! Close to Blanding but far enough from the highway we didn't hear it. Very quiet and nice area to walk our dog.

Really enjoyed the mountain blue birds. Site 4 was the only site without a gravel base. We were relieved it didn’t rain.
