Glampers Dream
Perfect for stargazing!
When we heard the local prediction of a good chance to see the northern lights, my wife son and I made a last-minute decision to book this place around 2:30 PM By the time we got there that same day everything was all set up and ready to go we had a magnificent time and saw the northern lights in spectacular beauty. We were looking for a good clear, dark sky, and this was the perfect place. In fact it is near a dark sky site called observatory park. Bring a telescope if you have one. The hosts were responsive and friendly. The farm animals, equally so.

Carlye was sooo sweet and the property was absolutely beautiful. The campsites are all on a beautiful wide open field at the back of her small farm. Perfect for star gazing, running free with our dog, and enjoying a nice quiet night

A great place for the price
A nice quiet place. Loved seeing the chickens, cows, baby goat, and beautiful Great Pyrenees dogs! The family was very friendly. We would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys dry camping.

Beautiful land that my kids could be let free on. Quiet place that was still close enough to civilization. Loved interacting with the animals. We will be back

Carlye’s farm was the perfect location to view the solar eclipse. Carlye and her husband were very helpful in getting us situated at our site and loading up firewood. It was a bonus that we also got to meet the farm animals! My family and I had a wonderful time.

Carlye and her husband were super friendly and provided both information and an awesome experience! The space was very large and spread out, it didn't feel like we were camping on top of anyone. They provided a fire pit and a whole lot of firewood. The farm was fun to experience and they did a whole thing for the eclipse with a food truck and live music. The only things I would point out (not as a con of any kind) is that water is available up at the house through a hose which can be quite a long walk depending on where you're camped, portos are pretty far away from some of the sites, and when it rains that whole ground gets extremely muddy and difficult to drive through for anyone without AWD or 4WD. We had a really great time and the hosts were wonderful.
