Lakeside campground
Perfect weekend camp!
We had an incredible time here! Lucked out and had our picnic table be a refurbished pontoon/picnic table with a trolling motor. We spent the whole afternoon and evening out on the lake, fishing, playing games, eating snacks. It was stunning. And there were plenty of spots for us to set up tent. Thank you to both Gary and Katherine for the hospitality and care, they are truly great hosts! The location was incredibly scenic, and the goats and chickens are a plus too☺️ Will definitely be back. Thank you!

Prairie place
We had a very nice time tent camping on Gary's land. Gary and his family were very nice and welcoming and the property is beautiful! The main house is visible from the lakeside site, but there are no other residents on the lake, so it was still quiet and peaceful there. The house and other sites are not visible from the meadow site. Nice walking paths around the property. It was also fun getting to meet the goats, who were very friendly. Lots of trees that were perfect for putting up our hammocks. We also had a very nice campfire down by the lake. We only stayed one night, so we didn't need to use the chalet (shower facilities available to campers as long as no one else is staying in the chalet for the night), but the bathroom/shower facilities looked very nice. There is also an outhouse closer to the campsites.
