Private, easy access off I-75
Katy and her daughter Dani are extremely helpful and friendly. They have a terrific setup, with their home separated from the large campsites they offer by a stream and stand of trees, making for a very peaceful, private place to stay with easy in and out. Our site was level, the grass cut recently, with a firepit and a nice extra table for cooking. There is a bathroom on site. There was ample wood to be gathered close by. Katy, a fascinating and very knowledgeable woman, along with sweet Dani, were so kind to show me their pigeons, chickens, donkeys, goats, and devoted dogs when we stopped to say goodby the next morning (I'm nuts for animals!). We stopped at the cute town of Cartersville on our way out for breakfast, which was only a slight detour as we headed back to the interstate. Furry Feathers' location just north of Atlanta makes for a perfect stopover if heading South or even if you just want to get past Atlanta for a northbound destination. I would highly recommend this delightful Hipcamp.

Furryfeathers Farm - Private Party
Highly Recommend!
We had a great trip! The host was very hospitable and the land is beautiful! Very private area with a pretty creek and flat, well maintained grass to easily put up a tent or play yard games. Great for a large group of people. We had 13 and had more than enough space!

Clean cozy place!
We really enjoyed camping at Katy's place. Katy was super friendly. She came out and met us to give us the run down of the area and we had a great time conversating as well. There was even an outhouse to use. I highly recommend this site for tent camping! Thanks Katy!

I didn’t end up staying because it got to be too late and found a place to set up for the night. There was great communication, clear instruction and she reached out to check on me when it got to be pretty late. I will be keeping her place in mind for future drives through from Florida to Indiana. Thanks Katy!
