Great for San Juan adventures
Beautiful property perched above Durango. Quick access to town then retreat back up the hill to views and solitude. So many birds! Mike is a great host, too! Made us feel 100% welcome.

Quite, close to town, great views!
Easy to find, close to town, private and quite site. Beautiful views and hook ups were all there. Mike is a great host. Make sure you have a long enough power cord as the utilities are on the opposite side ( no biggie). Steep road and driveway, make sure you’re not too big of a rig. Free fire wood. Worked great for a quiet place to sleep. Thanks Mike!

Bear lake is great!
Michael was a wonderful host. We were a late request and he accommodated us with no hesitation.
The spot was a little tight getting into and he helped back us in much faster than I could have!
It's a quiet and beautiful setting. His pictures are spot on.

Will stay here again!
What a fabulous place to camp! Michael and his family are warm and welcoming. The gravel site is just down from their house. Yes, it can be tricky to get in to. But Michael backed our trailer (24 foot) in for us and nailed it! They provided a fire pit and wood for some magical nighttime fires. We enjoyed the hiking trails on the property. From here, you've got quick and easy access to Durango and Mesa Verde. Next time we're in the area, we'll absolutely stay here again.

Very kind and communicative!
We weren’t able to make it to the site due to weather hours out - but Michael was SO kind and understanding when we had to cancel. Even though we didn’t stay, I wanted to leave a review about how sweet and communicative Michael was with us! :)
