My property is an acre and a half on Smith Lake, AL. It resides in a gated community that is rural but also has access to a boat launch and showers. The property also has access to a pool that requires and additional daily cost of $10 for adults and $5 for kids 16 and younger. You can fish from the campsite and swim in the lake.You can have two acres of privacy and Smith Lake access at our campsite. It is a primitive site in the woods but it's a ten minute walk to our club house that has hot showers, restrooms, boat ramp, playground, and a pool (Pool and laundry access is an additional fee $10 for adults and $5 for kids daily). Campsite has recently been sprayed for ticks and ants. Bankhead National Forest (great mountain biking location) is a 7 min drive away. Lake has bass, catfish and spot. No RV hook ups at site.

Sunrise Campsite

Man this place is amazing. We loved it. Very private fishing was great. The host was amazing as well. If you got a small boat you can launch it right from the campsite if you have a fourwheeler

Sunrise Campsite

Lots of privacy, peace and quiet.

This site is very private and sits back off the road. Beautiful tall trees and a nice view of the water. There is a shed and a fire ring with firewood. We really enjoyed being able to let our dogs be off leash. The only thing that needs to be noted is that the road coming in is very rough, and the path to the campsite isn't suitable for low riding vehicles. The campsite itself has a lot of dips and little hills to maneuver. There are a couple of relatively level places to set up a tent or an RV/camper trailer. The bathrooms are at a very nice club house and the showers are private. Beware of the nosy neighbors though... we were approached two different times while using the clubhouse by people asking how we got in and who let us in.

Sunrise Campsite

Fantastic place in the woods wit g

Our family and dogs loved our stay at this spot. We relaxed, caught a bunch of fish. Enjoyed the peace and quiet. The hosts are very freindky and campsite was perfect for us.

Sunrise Campsite

A very quiet campground with some seating around the fireplace. A good little walk in the morning down the path. The fire ring was nice too. Bring a hatchet or firewood as firewood provided is not cut which was not a problem for our group!
