A Russian River Rustic and Very Private Retreat. This 1 1/2 acre Paradise that many of our friends call An Adult Disneyland is a magical place to visit. Each of our areas, whether for entertaining or residing, has its own theme and is decorated with care. Each of the listings has it's own private deck or patio and then you have access to all of the common areas on the property We promise you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere, but you are minutes from everything. Lulu’s Landing and Captain Wack’s Cove is a pirate-themed Creekside hangout, where you can enjoy a fire, except during banned season. Also a great place to capture a glimpse of the numerous critters that cruise our creek. Foxes, Deer, Squirrels, Otters, Ducks and Herons as well as numerous songbirds that feed from our bird feeder. Lulu’s Lanai is a Flamingo-themed outdoor living room and dining area with fun vintage furniture and décor. The Take- A -Liki- Tiki Shower Shack is a great place to cool off and clean up after a day on the river or exploring tidepools at the coast. There is even a puppy bath station behind it for your furry friends! The Wack Shack is our outdoor bar and grill, full of fun, colorful lights and signs. There’s plenty of equipment to cook there: appliances, a BBQ, sink, fridge and walk-up bar. We also have several apple trees, a pear tree, and tons of blackberries when in season to share with our guest. Our Veggie Garden will be available next season to enjoy also. We are constantly improving our property so please stay in the finished designated guest areas only until we open up the coming attractions. There are plenty of sites and destinations within minutes from our home too! We have Tennis, Pickle Ball, and Basketball Courts around the corner. The Russian River/ Monte Rio public beach is a short walk past the Parks and Recreation Center, and they rent Kayaks and Canoes during the summer months. The Redwood Alliance camp is just a few miles up Bohemian Hwy if you dare to zip line through the redwood canopy forest or Armstrong woods in Guerneville for those that would rather keep their feet on the ground and take a hike to enjoy the majestic beauties. Duncan's Mill is a quaint town (less than 3 miles from us) on your way to Jenner by the Sea which is just about 9 miles to the west of us. You can take a gorgeous coastal drive to Bodega that is only 15 miles away. Historic Fort Ross is another beautiful 20 mile coastal drive. Bike Enthusiast love the back roads out here and the Biggest Attraction Is… Wait for it…. Wineries are everywhere! During the summer there are several Music Venues close by too. The Rio Nido Roadhouse has outdoor music on the weekends. Rockin the River is every other Thursday in Guerneville. The Monte Rio Variety Show just celebrated it 111th year to a sold-out crowd. Zac Brown, Steve Miller, Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor are just a few Headliners that have been here in the past. We have a great Lightwave coffee shop across the creek that is a quick 5 minute walk. There are several restaurants along the river as well as a small grocery store, movie theater, and a Homemade Ice Cream Parlor that are all close enough to walk to or drive. Guerneville is a quick 4 mile drive and has a Safeway and many restaurants and quaint shops too. Adults of 21 years or older only please. TOT#4440N

Cozy Cabin
Lynda , Rich & Bogie were absolutely amazing hosts! Me and my boyfriend spent two nights in their wakaluku wonderland, and it was just about the most perfect getaway we could’ve expected! Lots of exploring, the hot tub was amazing, and there is SO much to do in this amazing wonderland. I won’t give out too much, so you guys can be just as excited / surprised when booking here :) Definitely a first time experience that we will be back for. Anything you guys need, Lynda and Rich are so fast with responses & some of the sweetest people ever. The fire pits are also very easy to use, a lot of seating / cooking areas.

Cozy Cabin
Beautiful, comfortable, quie cabin
Some hosts skimp on amenities because they see their property as only a way to make money; Lynda is not that person. This is a beautiful property that the host has taken great pains (and many years) to shape, improve, and turn into a creative and comfortable oasis for others to enjoy. The land the cabin sits on is covered with trees and sits near a quiet, untrodden tributary of the Russian River. Lynda and her partner have landscaped the property to create the feeling of being in nature while enjoying a well-considered mini-maze of ferns, comfortable sitting areas, an outdoor bar, and more. We experienced little to no traffic or neighbor noise. The aesthetic is a mix of tiki-pop-pirate-meets Antiques Roadshow. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. We found everything we needed inside and more. Lynda provided different sizes of wine glasses, lots of useful dish and serveware, and more than the number of cooking amenities we needed. The bed was comfortable and even had heating blankets already set up. The nearby hot tub, seating area, firepit and grill all seemed new and we used them all. This is a great place to relax, whether you're in a couple or with others. Highly recommend.

The Boathouse
Magical hosts, property, & location
Everything glowingly positive that has been written about Lynda, Rich, and their magical property is totally true. They have thought of every possible detail. Sunblock because you forgot yours? It’s there. Bug spray? Olive oil? Bandaids? Lighters? And all right where you need it. The place is chock full of kitschy-ness as you can see from photos but what is surprising is how well it’s all arranged, dusted (no cobwebs!) and intentional. And they are even more thoughtful w people: turning on fireplace, lighting our room, opening the gate, plotting our navigation advice so we get home faster… if they did half what they currently do they’d still be five-star hosts. I will be back and next time it will be with my whole family to rent out the whole place!

The Boathouse
Magical Creekside Tiki Haven!
Lynda Lu and her husband have made this tiki paradise right on the creek, and it is such a gift that they share it with the world! I was delighted with my stay. Lynda met me with open arms and was very flexible and accommodating across the board. There was ample parking for my van and my dog Chef was warmly welcomed onto the property— she loved it as much as I did! It was a dawg vacation. I live within a hour away in Sonoma County, but was going to a lot of events in Guerneville for women’s weekend and wanted to stay in the area. I found the 9-min drive into town very easy. The hosts made it convenient for me to come and go as I pleased. They made sure I had everything I needed, but also gave me complete privacy. I had the whole oasis to relax in, and I loved every minute of it. Just for reference, I stayed in the boathouse, which I found to be perfect and cozy for me! The bed was warm and comfortable. I loved the creekside view from the boathouse deck, where I spent my mornings. :) The larger cabinis also super rad looking— Lynda showed me around, and I would absolutely book that space if I have another guest next time! Plus it has a bathroom, kitchen etc all in the same space. The boathouse is more like glamping, but I’m a fan and all of the shared spaces were super well kept. If you’re looking for a magical escape to the Russian River area, look no further— this is The Place! <3
