Treehouses in Oregon

Like the rest of the Pacific Northwest, Oregon is known for its massive expanses of forests, and you don't need to go far from the city to find yourself among the fir trees. This makes it a great spot for a magical treehouse vacation, and fortunately, there are plenty of options all around the state, from urban treehouse glamping in Portland to treetop getaways on the Oregon Coast. Southern Oregon even has its own treehouse resort. Just be aware that many treehouses require navigating up flights of stairs or spiral staircases, and some are off-grid and very minimal with outdoor showers (usually with hot water), fire pits, and composting toilets. That said, Oregon's best treehouses come with many of the bells and whistles you'd expect from a vacation rental, complete with wifi and kitchenettes.
