Bring your family & friends to camp at our quiet and very modest small farm. Located in backwoods horse pastures with free range chickens, a dog, and a couple of horses. The property is very spread out and there is an outhouse for all sites to us. Your pets are welcome too! Locally there are state parks with beaches, and state forest for trails & lakes, hiking and biking. Or you can just relax and enjoy the serenity!
Other attractions include local farmers markets, Gilette's Castle, and the famous River Ferry crossing the Connecticut River with a vehicle across to East Haddam.
We cannot allow any wood for camp fires to be brought in form the outside for environmental reasons. It can be purchased for $12 per bundle on this site or $10.00 here at farm.
Farm Fresh eggs daily when available for $4.00 per 1/2 dozen.
No bedding is provided for cabin or trailer sites.
Garbage removal is available as well $5 per bag provided.

Nearby towns (Kent, CT / Wassaic, NY) have awesome art, shopping and plenty of food options as well as easy access to the Appalachian trail and Macedonia state park.
15 minutes from the Wassaic metro north station, the cabin can be reach by taxi. The cabin is accessible by car, but may require a short hike in after heavy rain or snow.

There is a large outdoor shower only which is open to the sky and perfect for star-gazing in the steam! Beautiful sunrises to the east of the marsh and breathtaking sunsets to the west over the Sound will make your stay magical and memorable forever!Learn more about this land:Charming beach cottage is comfortable and quaint surrounded by the salt marsh and Long Island Sound, thus called Great Hammock Beach. Awesome natural habitat for fishing, kiting, kayaking, paddle boarding, and communing with wildlife. Guests must bring own linens and paper goods. There is no indoor shower, however, our large outdoor shower is privately enclosed and makes for a unique bathing experience open to the sky and billions of stars! While there are a few blankets inside the house, please note there is no heat except for a couple space heaters. Perfect for the outdoors lover! Chris has been master carpenter and cabinet maker since the 1980’s. The two spend time keeping the grounds and gardens up and going out to dance. They love live music. The property is also the home to 3 cats and two dogs.
