Welcome to Saddle Mountain Ranch, RV and Campground! We are located on 89 acres of forest land off Carmel Valley Road, just 5 miles from HWY 1. Nestled within oaks, Monterey pines, and redwoods, Saddle Mountain offers a great family friendly getaway for those seeking a break from the bustle of life. PLEASE NOTE, our RV and tent sites are pet friendly but YOU MUST ADD THE PET FEE EXTRA WHEN MAKING YOUR BOOKING. Our glamping stays are NOT pet-friendly aside from one of our luxury tents. We charge $5 per pet and you can bring a maximum of 2 pets. On site seasonally heated pool (Mid May through Oct). ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: *Please continue reviewing/monitoring California Travel guidelines as they may change and affect your reservation* On site seasonally heated pool (seasonally), private hiking trail, playground, Foosball table and more. No refund for inclement weather during the Winter months. We provide complementary Wi-Fi in designated areas of the park. Partial Hookups Tent Site W/E

A place to crash

The density of the sites is too high. The host didn't transfer our reservation from the third party site to their system and we didn't get the site we reserved. They did have a site available for us though. It was the noisiest campground I have ever stayed in, but it was a holiday weekend. Generally the campground was well maintained and facilities are pretty new as of 2024.

Drive-in Tent/Van Site

This place is wonderful! The grounds are clean and the recreation options were a pleasant surprise. Staff was friendly and camp spots were charming. Would go back time and time again :)

Cozy Bunk House w/ Luxury Tent

Perfect for our Large Group

Great location about 10-15 mins from mostly everything. I’d consider this a nice glamping experience far a large group - especially with kids as they loved the tent/bunkbeds and had plenty of space to play around. Proximity to the public

Cozy Cabin 7 called "Mission Trail"

Host was super friendly and makes sure we get what we need. The cabin was clean and cozy and we had great fun barbecue and playing games!

Luxury Tent

It was a lovely glamping tent with amazing facilities. Heated pool in late spring was perfect. Not all the luxury tents have outdoor lights though so don’t forget a good flashlight for cooking after sundown.
