Buck Acres near Lake Conroe, TX

20 sites · RVs, Tents6 acres · Montgomery, TX
The previous owner had plans to turn our property into a 42 site row by row RV Park. Once we saw the beauty of the property, we knew we had to keep it as wild and pristine as possible. On 6.5 acres the perfect number of sites was 18 keeping the large house for short-term rental (coming soon.) Sorry, we are still under construction but excited about our progress! See a short video at https://www.buckacresrv.com Buck Acres is technically not even an RV park, we just want to share our property with fellow travelers so we added some gravel roads. The only amenities are a Wi-Fi, 50/30/20A plug-ins, a porta-john and water. We use HipCamp and The Dyrt for bookings or just give us a call or text at (832) 303-9940 "Close to everything, away from it all" We're in the country but close to city amenities and beautiful Lake Conroe. It's only a few minutes from April Sound and the largest marina on Lake Conroe, 8 minutes to Wal-Mart and Kroger, yet it's peaceful and quiet on our forested property. As full-time RV nomads ourselves we know RV park rates are getting crazy, Buck Acres is our attempt to help the community. We've done everything we can to keep rates down. The only amenities we offer are shade, Wi-Fi, electricity, water, and an ADA porta john that is cleaned every week. Affordable RV parks shouldn't be sweltering parking lots where you're packed in like sardines! At Buck Acres we have 100' tall hardwoods and pines that have been trimmed up 60' for the safety of you and your rig! Buck Acres is still under construction and it is a labor of love. All proceeds go immediately back into the park. Bring your family, pets, and friends - tents and RVs welcome! Please Note: Quiet Hours are 10pm - 8am Please keep fires within designated fire rings Keep pets on leash - Clean up any pet waste Do not walk through other people’s campsites. Respect the boundaries and their privacy. The Navasota River Ranch

14 sites · RVs, Tents600 acres · Navasota, TX
The Navasota River Ranch is a 600 ac parcel of land bounded by more than a mile of the Navasota River on its west side and two tributary creeks on its north and southeast sides. The river bottom is wild and untamed, while the rest is rolling hills reminiscent of the prairie that once greeted settlers. Nearby is Bryan-College Station home of Texas A&M University To the west on Hwy 105 is Washington on the Brazos State Park. This is the location where delegates gathered to hastily draw up a declaration of independence before joining the Runaway Scrape to avoid capture and execution by the advancing Mexican Army. Farther down the road is the famous Blue Bell creamery in Brenham. The tour and ice cream are well worth the trip. On the property are miles of Jeep trails excellent for off road and 4WD vehicles. Guests might prefer hiking along these trails or strike out on foot trails and game trails. Thanks to the hunters who have come for the deer and feral hogs over the years there are numerous observation structures for viewing wildlife up close, or just enjoying the solitude of the deep woods. Three ponds offer bass and perch fishing from the bank or bring your own boat. And then there is the Navasota River...

Bahia Trails

17 sites · Tents6 acres · Plantersville, TX
**We are opening early to accommodate for Ren Fair and are still currently in the process of developing the campground, cleaning up the property, and working on the HipCamp listing. ** Located only 3.5 miles from The Texas Renaissance Festival, Bahia Trails Campground is a quiet, privately owned camping ground that is located deep within the Texas Piney Woods. Bahia Trails is centered on a total of 6 acres, roughly 200' wide by 900' long. Meandering across the back of the property lies a small creek, Deer Creek. Though this creek is shallow and does not always hold water, our guests are more than welcome to try their hand at fishing here for Bream. On clear nights our guests are able to enjoy Star Gazing. Since this location is located in a fairly rural area, there is no city water available. However, our water well system pulls water deep from within the Gulf Coast Aquifer supplying our toilets, sinks, and cold water rinsing shower. Nearest Attractions- TRF - 3.5 Miles Washington on the Brazos State Historical Site - 26 Miles DeepRoots Vineyards - 3 Miles Bernhardt Winery - 13 Miles Renaissance Shooting Club - 5.6 Miles Lake Conroe - 28 Miles Houston - 60 Miles The 7 Principles of Leave No Trace- Plan ahead and prepare.
