Incredibly beautiful ranch property with massive rock formations all over. The goats, chickens, horses definitely added to the experience. Awesome tent setup with outdoor kitchen. If it had a shower, it'd be a full/on Airbnb rental.

Raina and Nathan take care of their guests with lots of little touches. From a nice welcome of wildflowers & apples on our table to the twinkling lights in the outhouse, they really took time to ensure a comfortable stay. We used the propane stove, grill, the string lights, walked the path and loved on the animals. We hope to make this a yearly tradition.

genuinely this place was by far the best accommodation iāve ever stayed at. the hosts were personable and welcoming, and the location was absolutely beautiful. i will absolutely be coming back again, it was lovely (also the steaks are magnificent). me and my partner were able to walk around the property, see the farm animals, and even hike up to ābig rockā and view the sunset over terrebonne.

We stayed at the Tiny House for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Raina greeted us as we pulled up. She explained all the areas that we were free to explore. Everything was set up and good to go. We got to hang with the goats who had some big personalities. It was a great experience

An absolutely beautiful retreat! We came out here last minute for a little sunny R&R and couldn't be happier to have found this place. All the basic amenities, very kind host family, and a very big rock to just zone out to. Can't wait to come back.

We stayed for two nights and had an amazing time exploring the ranch. The animalsāespecially the goatsāwere so entertaining to watch! Raina even invited us into the goat pen so we could pet them, which was such a fun and memorable experience.
The tiny home was adorable and thoughtfully designedācozy, practical, and just right for our stay. We hiked up the nearby hill to a bench and were rewarded with the most stunning view of our entire tripājust a short walk (less than half a mile) from the tiny home.
Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a unique and peaceful getaway!

This property is such a gem! If you want a tranquil getaway with a slow, easy pace this is the spot! Big Rock Ranch is close enough to many great activities, Smith Rock Park, live music at Rivers Edge Brewery and of course taking advantage of all that Benās has to offer, yet far enough to unplug and get some peace and quiet..

This is the most magical place with the kindest people!!! Farm animals, cute dogs, cozy accommodations, picturesque landscape, the sweetest dogs (even Monty), could not ask for more. Raina and Nathaniel are so very wonderful and thoughtful. Will be back as soon as we can!

Upon arriving at the tiny home on the farm, we were greeted by the hosts and their pups. We had a wonderful stay, took in the beautiful amazing views of the surrounding landscapes at sunset and explored the farm area. Overall, the tiny home is a sweet getaway for two with a cozy pellet fire inside and a loft with a queen bed. We got to enjoy a delightful breakfast made with farm-fresh eggs given by the hosts and played card games on the corner table. Would be happy to stay here again!

What a wonderful little get away! Not only were the accommodations great, but the hosts were so friendly and inviting! We were entertained by the goats, gifted eggs from their chickens, and we got to learn about their practices on regenerative farming! Very entertaining, educational, and beautiful!

It was a pleasure to stay on Raina's land and meet her family! Waking up to the goats perched on the rocks was a real treat -- and the stargazing was lovely. Even as the season gets chilly we were very cozy in the elk tent. It was so helpful to have access to a sink with running water and an extension cord for my friend's bipap machine. Would stay again!

These are the sweetest people and very nice hosts in every way. Our problem was the constantly varying background noise that spoiled our ability to enjoy the genuinely nice landscape. Too close to busy highway, under a small craft flight path to airport, with a train blowing through occasionallyā¦ add that to animals and children once in awhile - it just didnāt add up for us. We wanted tranquillity near picturesque rocksā¦ not anybodyās fault, but it was a bunch of sound we didnāt expect.

High Desert Canvas Tent on Farm
Big Rock Ranch is such a special, beautiful spot and Raina and family have created a sweet little oasis there. The big tent is thoughtful and very comfortable. Raina graciously let us borrow an extension cord so my dad could plug in his CPAP.
The outdoor kitchen has all the basics you need for camp cooking, and we made two memorable meals there. Raina even brought eggs for us to eat with breakfastāso thoughtful!
We did the regenerative farm tour and learned about how they're creating a small farm that's sustainable for the land, animals, and humans who live there. Meeting the animals and watching the goats frolic on the rocks was very special.
Sunset and sunrise were both stunning. The big rock catches the light and absolutely glows. The sunset colors were glorious, too. This beautiful place is worth visiting and returning to.

Most beautiful place. Like I still canāt comprehend the beauty and simplicity of this place. There are a few trails located behind the yurt that lead to a bench that overlooks the land below, breath taking. Was a tiny bit cold, bought a blanket and was much better. Stars??! Oh my word, I canāt explain how beautiful they are out there. Would absolutely stay here again next time weāre in Oregon. We were our adventuring quite a bit and met the hosts on the last night, very wonderful hosts as well!! Canāt recommend this place enough!

What a fantastic tiny home! This little house is so thoughtfully designed with beautiful and artful touches throughout. The kitchen and seating area is perfect for two people and the shower area with clothing storage is perfect. The view and ambiance at the tiny home is not to be missed.

High Desert Canvas Tent on Farm
Wow, what a place! We absolutely loved our stay in the Elk Tent at Big Rock Ranch. The setting for this tent is incredible with huge rocks up above you. We caught the most beautiful sunsets. Our kids had the time of their lives feeding the goats, gathering eggs, and hunting lizards. It is an incredibly short drive to Smith Rock where you can hike and play in the river. Truly a special place with special hosts!

We loved our stay! The tiny home was cute, cozy, and had a functional kitchen. The animals were fun to see, and Raina and the kids brought over some fresh eggs for us to enjoy with our breakfast. The landscape was gorgeous, with lots of large, interesting rocks to look at!

It's a perfect place for the right people. There are some quirks, but if you can follow all the rules and don't mind minimal and tiny, it's a beautiful farm with lovely hosts.

We have now stayed at both available options at their ranch and have had great experiences! The tiny home is quaint and very simplistic. The animals are so sweet. In addition to all that good, the owners son dropped off some freshly picked up eggs!

A beautiful, quiet property even with the dogs, goats, cows, horses and chickens. We were given fresh eggs the night we arrived....yummy. The little house was adorable and comfortable. We wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved staying in this Rania and family's desert tent. Our 3-year old had a blast feeding the animals and collecting eggs which we then ate - delicious! The tent was cozy and super well equipped with clear instructions. And the kitchen area was super practical, we had some 2 lovely meals here. Would 100% recommend.

Big Rock Ranch was unbelievable. You donāt need much with such a stunning backdrop, yet the tiny house was decorated with such attention to detail. Raina and her family were so friendly and informative, I couldnāt have asked for a better experience! Stay here if you get the opportunity!!!

We loved the canvas tent cabin on the farm! A beautiful, peaceful property with Smith Rock state park right around the corner. Raina and her family were super welcoming and friendly. So much to do in the area and then you come home and watch the sunset against Big Rock above the tent. Definitely a great place to stay!
