Bring the dogs
It was a super cute little house. He had everything u need pretty there and available. Wood burning stove kept the house toasty. Sad it rained so we didn't have a fire outside. Farm fresh eggs Def a nice gesture. 100% we will be returning and with the dogs this time

Cozy Cabin
We loved Darryl’s tiny cabin! It was perfect for 2 of us and our 3 small dogs. He even was generous enough to give us a dozen eggs from his chickens! The wood stove was so lovely to use the first night, it dipped down to the 30s. The second night was in the 50s and it was perfectly warm inside without it. The bed in the loft was comfy and we both slept well. :)
A few notes: we LOVE to cook, if that’s your speed I’d recommend bringing some of your own tools to make the experience easier. If not, it’s got everything you probably need!
The water jug to filter drinking water could definitely use an upgrade. The knob is broken and it processes the water veryyyy slowly. If you drink a ton of water like we do it may be easier to bring your own gallons.
Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay again!

Site 2 Casey's Camp
1st Spring Camping with the Kiddos!
My husband and I have grown up camping as kids and this was our first time camping with our two! It was the most amazing weekend, the site was exactly what was advertised and better!! We had an overall amazing time (first spring campers this year!) and will absolutely be going back.
There was a small tree in the road after the storm, and Darryl was immediately there to help and pull it out of the way, they gave us a few gallons of water as the ground just unfroze, and gave us a whole dozen eggs from there super cute chickens!! All the sites are great (we explored around) and even the outhouses were better than expected! Would 100000% recommend to couples, families, groups, etc!

Great weekend!!!!!
This was a perfect weekend get away to relax and unplug. What I loved about the house was the design. It was very in tune with nature and the surroundings. Windows in the loft are on the eastern and western walls of the house which means you see the sunrise every morning and can see the stars at night as you fall asleep. The first floor has windows all along the southern wall which lets in a ton of light plus amazing views. It also helps to heat the first floor during the day. It was the perfect place to relax and connect with nature. Darry was a great host explaining how everything worked. I even saw some sandhill cranes on the property! The house was super comfortable and I would definitely return. Went to Horicon marsh and ledge park while I was there. Both very beautiful.

Stone Ridge Tiny House
This is my third time visiting and I am sure to be back for another mini-vacation. It is a place to cozy up and be surrounded by nature. The hosts are as welcoming as you want them to be. If you want privacy, they are very good at respecting that and all you'll hear are their adorable chickens and roosters. The sounds of the cranes in the distance and the perfect window positions that allow you to catch the sunrise and sunset are just some of the few things that bring me joy. This place can be as rugged as you want it to be - you can rely on the gas heater or have fun with the wood stove. You can rely on your own packed in water sources, or use the old metal pump to get water. It's truly a delight and the fresh eggs were a pleasant surprise and treat.
