T8) Tent Site
Beautiful place to camp and everyone that I met was quite lovely. The amenities were clean (you never know what you'll find) and it was a quick 20 minute drive to Capitol Reef. Highly recommend!

Nice little spot to set up a tent
I wasn't expecting much from a tent site in an RV park, bit it turned out to be pretty nice. Notably, there's a very good barbecue restaurant on site, so I was able to have a nice hot meal before setting up my tent. It's very close to Capitol Reef NP and the view coming out of Torrey going toward the park is breathtaking, especially at sunset. It's also a good starting point if you're headed toward the Aquarius Plateau.

55) Water & Electricity Back-In 45'
Even though we were parked very close to our neighbors the view was awesome. The back-in sites along the back of the property were great. Check-in was quick and friendly, the showers were terrific.

Spectacular Hipcamp-ground
This campground is spectacular. The beautiful red rock cliffs of the Torrey area of Capitol Reef N.P. tower behind the campground which is located in a bucolic little town in a serene valley very close to Capitol Reef. Staff are super friendly. The camp store is chock full of very nice jewelry, souvenirs, T-shirts and other gifts. It also has common RV supplies. The campsites are wide with full hookups. It’s very quiet there and everyone we met were very nice. There is a BBQ restaurant there which has rave reviews. The nearby town is chock full nice restaurants and shops. Check out Chak Balam (red jaguar in Mayan language) for a delicious Mexican meal at very reasonable prices. And of course, Capitol Reef is stunning to explore. Book this Hipcamp today!
