Beautiful and surreal location
It’s even more beautiful than in the pictures. Krissie and her family doing a great job to make yourself at home in a surreal landscape. We loved the place. Her mother made us original Navajo tacos, just lovely. Please go here. You won’t be disappointed.

Site 4 - Chiefs Campsite
Krissie and her mother were so very friendly and kind! The location of the site was perfect, right outside of Monument Valley and easy to get to. They have a kitty and a dog who visited us frequently and it was exactly what I needed after missing my pets at home. I would suggest the host to ensure their listing is updated with the available accommodations. Upon arrival we were informed the shower was not in working condition as well as the water hookup outside - which were two accommodations we desperately needed. The outhouse had no toilet paper and the hand sanitizer was broken. Lastly, many other reviews mentioned the lack of signage - it was challenging to find the camp as well as know which site is which since they were not labeled. All in all the family was very friendly and accommodating when we asked for water, but a little more effort around the site would go a long way. Not worth the $ with the current state the campsites were in.

Wonderful view near monument valley
Krissie was a big help giving us the directions to get at the campground. The view was fantastic and extraordinary. It help us forgetting the dirt road to get there with our 30 ft travel trailer. 😀 We park at our site and Krissie’s mother came to welcome us a couple of hour later. A little warning, she has a very very friendly cat who got in our trailer that we found out after 2hours drive. We love cats, we drive half way to meet Krissie in order to return her beautiful cat. It is a funny experience to tell to our friends. The sunset and rising sun is wonderful. It is a very peaceful campground.

Stunning view
There's the most stunning view we've seen so far at the campsite. The toilets are pretty raw, but usable. There's a lovely dog and cat that love petting ❤️

Crazy, drunk and rude.
We had to drive 6 hours and we were 30 minutes late for reason out of our control. The owner has many control freak rules and one is to arrive 1 hours before sunset. On site it wasn’t clear where to report so we got near the house. A man appears and we soon found that he was drunk with a strong smell of alcool. He could hardly speak and his first words were “you are f… late”. He added that another rule is to never approach his house. He ask us to leave and we were very lucky to find another place even if we were late. Stay away from there, there are many other nice and friendly RV campsites close.
