Foxfern Redwood Cabin in the Forest
May the Forest be with You! (May 4)
SUCH an incredible little spot!! We wanted a relaxing, fun getaway to Mendocino for the weekend, and it was nothing short of that. It ended up raining hard for one day, so we got to cozy up by the cute little furnace often, and made some yummy dinners on our camp stove. The town is quite close, so we did a lot of exploring!
Victoria and Kyle were wonderful hosts! She offers lovely add-ons, and gave clear, easy directions leading up to our arrival. Communication was great.
Honestly I can’t say anything negative. We had a great weekend and really enjoyed the nature. And SO grateful we chose to stay in a cabin because the rain was so peaceful! We love nature, and this was a perfect dose of that :)
Top glamping spot in my books!

Foxfern Redwood Cabin in the Forest
Cozy cabin
This cabin was so amazing! It is tucked away from the main house so you feel like you have the woods all to yourself. The cabin has such cute decorations and the welcome basket was a lovely touch! We had such a great time and hope to come back again!

Foxfern Redwood Cabin in the Forest
smores + serenity
Exactly what our little family and pooch wanted - camping in serenity with a fire for smores, card games and easy peasy access to Mendocino. Thank you so much Victoria & Kyle.

Foxfern Redwood Cabin in the Forest
Amazing stay for a bday!
The place is great , the cabin is small but cozy. The location of the cabin is perfect and accesible. You will feel inside the forest and but at the same time you are really close to Mendocino and the coast. The place has a BBQ grill but it was hard to clean out dishes and pans after using them. A small outside kitchen or sink will help so you can really cook outside in the fire or grill.

Foxfern Redwood Cabin in the Forest
sweet and small Mendo glamping spot
Super sweet glamping site in the heart of Mendocino. Easy access to downtown. Remember it is basic, as in camping, but with a couple perks such as four walls, a bed, and heat source. You must bring everything else! Compost outhouse was charming, pleasant and totally non-smelly. Don't forget your bedding like we did- remembered for the kids and forgot for ourselves. Bought a low quality $68 sleeping bag in town. Must try Fogeaters Cafe for breakfast! Enjoy the firepit and know that at night (April) the cabin gets pretty hot upstairs and remains a bit cooler downstairs with the little woodstove inside.
