Grand Canyon West Cabin
Camping at Joshua Tree Park
I am already planning another trip to this cabin! Staying here was one of the best decisions I made on my vacation. Secluded access to the beautiful Joshua tree park. Sunset and Sunrise were breathtaking. The stars were incredible. The next morning as we were packing up we noticed a telescope. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, so I can't say if it works or not, but I recommend you give it a try!
The cabin itself was clean and everything seems to have been thought of. After a few days on the road it was nice to have a coffee bar at the ready! Beds were high quality memory foam and my back was grateful. I was so cozy and content I did not want to leave. I decided to opt for the steak and try something new. I rarely eat steak, but hands down this was the BEST steak I have even eaten! It was a huge t bone and I cut it with a butter knife. Unbelievable. Go for the steak!
Communication was timely, kind and helpful from the moment I inquired about the rental. We had trouble unlocking the door and there was absolutely zero delay by the host to fix the issue. This host sets the standard for hosting.
Stop at Boathouse cafe grill just down the road on the way to Grand Canyon west and it was amazing. Highly recommend it.

Grand Canyon West Cabin
Beautiful cabin, beautiful location
This place is an amazing find! It's located in a really beautiful and quiet desert town, right on the edge. The cabin itself is big enough for a whole family and is equipped with everything you need. The hosts were so thoughtful in their stocking of the cabin and really thought of everything. Although I didn't get to meet Michelle and Trevor in person, they were very friendly over messaging and so quick to respond.
The cabin is located across the street from a Joshua Tree forest as well as the beginning of the Grand Canyon, so the view is incredible. At night it's quite dark so you can see tons of stars and the Milky Way. Both sunrise and sunset are amazing from the cabin.
It's a quiet area but you still feel well protected with the security system they have in place. It provides that extra bit of comfort :)
They leave the essentials and some emergency items in the kitchen and bathroom should you need, which is very thoughtful.
The Grand Canyon West skywalk is very nearby, as well as Lake Mead and the historic Route 66, so there is lots to see as a day trip from the cabin. I can't recommend this place enough and would love to come back and spend a week!
