The Penfield Tiny house is fully loaded with heat, electricity, stove, water, shower, composting toilet, and washer/dryer! Our 8' by 30' home sits on a 2 acre field surrounded by Vermont forest...a great place to get away from the grind. Easily accessible from the road but the tree coverage blocks all views to neighbors. It's a great place to sit by the firepit, see the stars and hike the forest. A quick drive to state parks, lake Champlain, and many river holes. We are located 14 miles from Smugglers Notch Ski area, 20 miles to Burlington, and 65 miles to Montreal, if you're looking for more nightlife.

Mt Baker Tiny Cabin

This off-the-grid tiny house is nestled on a 23 acre parcel at the end of a quarter-mile dirt road. The property itself is secluded but is less than 2 miles from the heart of Saranac Lake's downtown. This property is bordered by the Saranac River, the backside of Baker Mountain and State Forest. The only other building on the property is our timberframe which we may or may not be at during the time of your visit. The property does have private trails up to the cliffs on the backside of Baker mtn however, the Saranac River is down a steep embankment so it does not make for a good place to launch a boat (several public boat launches nearby). The Mt Baker tiny house is a great basecamp for hiking the Saranac Lake 6-ers, paddling/boating along the Saranac Chain of lakes or Saranac River, Mountain Biking at Dewey, Pisgah or other nearby BETA trails. IMPORTANT DETAILS: This tiny cabin is completely off the grid: no electricity, heat or cooling. Queen sized bed - we provide the linens. The driveway is narrow - so nothing in tow. Drinking water is provided via jug and dispenser. There is a brand new outhouse (no flushable toilet) We have a designated spot for campfires (smores are a must) There is an older propane grill outside for guest use

This 140 sq ft cabin, comes fully insulated with twin bunk beds. Air mattresses are covered in a clean sheet in between guests but you will have to provide your own bedding and pillows. There is no running water in the cabin. We do have a semi covered privy you can use as needed, we do ask that you please do not place any feminine products or garbage down the privy. We are currently working on internet. The cabin does have a space heater and electric with a mini fridge and microwave. PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY FOOD BEHIND!

Lincoln Pond Loj is a one room tiny home for your glamping pleasure located in the heart of the Adirondack High Peaks. The house is equipped with a queen sized bed, linens, fully stocked kitchenette, outdoor table and full bathroom with flush toilet, running water and shower. The tiny house is small! 10x20 and we consider this to be a glamping experience where you will use the private lot and the beautiful surroundings more then the house it's self. Lincoln Pond Loj runs on a rain water collection system so please be water conscious, some drinking water is provided, drinking the tap water is not recommended. There is electricity and wifi on site. The house has both heating and air-conditioning. The lot is 1 acre, private and exclusive use of guests only. There is parking for a medium RV or 2 cars, the property is fenced and lockable if required. There is a storage shed onsite available for guest use if needed, for your bikes or other sport equipment. Pets are permitted however there is an additional cleaning fee applied. Fire pit and BBQ are onsite please use fire safety to keep our forest safe.

We purchased this property in 2014 and have slowly been renovating the main home as well as a small cabin on the other side of the property. In 2018 a family member approached us with an idea to host his tiny house on our land and make it available for short term rentals. We have been successfully hosting guests since spring 2019 over on another platform and look forward to opening up this space to the Hipcamp travel community. Our future plans are to make the semi off grid cabin available to hipcampers in late 2021 and a fully of grid cabin in our woods the following year! Our tiny house, primarily made from recycled materials and totally off the grid, is a great way to get away from the world and all the hustle and bustle of modern life. Learn how to be resourceful and use solar power, rain catchment, and a compost toilet while you are one with nature. You will be basically camping with a hot shower, beds, cookstove, and a fireplace. There are many hiking and biking trails nearby, waterholes and lakes, and of course you are within a half hour drive of Jay Peak resort and four minutes from Lake Carmi State Park. Cell reception is limited in this area of Vermont. There is no internet access in the property as well. There is a town 7 miles away with most of the basic necessities of life. MInimum stay is three nights.
