Pack up your RV for a Seaside getaway in Oregon’s largest coastal city.
The largest city on the Oregon Coast, Coos Bay attracts all sorts of beach-loving campers with its Sandy shores and ample amenities. The city is particularly well-known for both its crabbing and clamming opportunities, as well as for its easy access to the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area in nearby North Bend. Many state parks in the area—notably Shore Acres State Park and Cape Arago State Park—are open only for day use, but you can bring your RV to the campground at Sunset Bay State Park or to any number of private RV parks and campsites in the Coos Bay area, many of which come with hookups, dump stations, bathrooms, and room to roam. While temperatures on the Oregon Coast rarely get hot, you'll find the warmest and driest weather in and around Coos Bay from July through September.
