There are hiking and biking trails, 2 lakes for fishing, kayaking on the South River, or have a lazy day in the woods. So much to enjoy for outdoor lovers. Being under the canopy of the pine trees really helps keep the site cool during Georgia summers. We have a nice outhouse and outdoor shower with hot water that are available to campers. We do live on the property and the bathroom area is shared with others. Welcome!

If the chickens are laying good I will get you some fresh eggs.

How is this here? This is so cool!" And they are right. 4 friendly adult goats, 5 free-ranging hens, 5 cartoonishly-cute ducks. It's a happy place! The woods around us support several owls, Coopers hawks, some deer and an occasional red fox. There is a small nature trail that features several beautiful places to meditate by the babbling creek. Access to our neighborhood's recreation area as our guest to the swimming pool is available for an extra fee of $3/person (May-Oct). (For the safety of our goats, your fur babies larger than 10lbs are not permitted. One of our goats lost an eye once to a dog, and she's never fully forgiven me. ) We have several housemates, so parking is limited to street parking (one vehicle for you). There is a very large firepit and seating area where tent site could go or you can choose a more secluded area in the back. Dogs are welcome to stay in the fenced yard, but will be an additional fee for boarding, they can stay with you at your site for free but please dont allow them to bark all night.
