Enjoy near by walks along Cow Creek and all the boating, swimming and exploring or the lake you crave! Watch the world and relax as God intended.

Cow Creek runs most the year and is incredible to explore. Park where you cross the creek on Columbia Trail and walk down stream to slot canyon.

Continue down Cow Creek Rd past the big ranch gates. About a mile past the ranch you will see a road that lead to Creek and Huge boulders.

This property is in a one of a kind location that puts you on the lake in a two minute walk…. Or the Gila River in a 20 minute walk. Plus there’s a nook for each campsite with fire pit. Million Mile Magazine named Rio Rancho Verde as one of the top 10 locations to celebrate the top short term rental platform's 10th Anniversary.  We were also selected by the other top short term rental platform (one of 5 out of 3500 vacation rentals in Scottsdale) for a social media presentation and a cooking series was filmed at our outdoor kitchen.  This 62 acre exclusive equestrian eco-ranch is located on the border of the Tonto National Forest, and is 3/4 mile from the Scottsdale Sonoran Preserve, yet only 20 minutes from North Scottsdale.  We offer boarding for your horse and packages include either a hookup for your trailer, a luxury 2 bedroom suite with pool and outdoor kitchen, a brand new 36' travel trailer with 3 slide outs, fireplace, queen size bed, full kitchen and big screen TV, or a Western chic casita/bunkhouse that has been interior decorated with Southwestern and Western accents, complete with a private courtyard.   There's plenty of wide open spaces to ride your horse, bike or hike on the many trails right outside our gate.  Or, simply stroll down to the barn and enjoy your morning coffee while the horses finish their breakfast.  We're big on sustainability, so we reduce, reuse, recycle and repurpose.  We have an organic garden on site and you're free to help yourself to seasonal veggies.  There's something for everyone at Rio Rancho Verde.  SORRY, WE DO NOT ALLOW TENT OR RV CAMPING UNLESS YOU ARE BOARDING YOUR  HORSE(S) WITH US.

Pinnacle Farms South

Pinnacle Farms is a diverse orchard with over 1200 fruit trees on 7 acres nestled at the base of South Mountain in Phoenix's old agriculturally diverse Laveen area.  A well kept secret, Laveen is only about 10 minutes by car to downtown restaurants and events, while having a rural feel, and the mountain preserves are within walking or biking distance.

This is the sign to look out for when you're driving in. Don't listen to Google Maps- look for this sign when it shows you're close.

Desert Hideout RV Stop

We bought this property several years ago to have plenty of room for our dogs and future children to grow, roam and play. Superstition Mountain—which you can see from the property and is only ~7 min drive from us—is full of history, legends and mysteries. Tonto National Forest, which starts 5 minutes away from our home, is a great place for off-roading, hiking, camping, boating, and adventuring. Cave Creek Quiet Homestead

Quiet slice of heaven under the stars on our homestead. 

Our space offers a tranquil setting with several camping options. 

Site # 1: Glamping Tent with Queen sized mattress all set to relax!

Site #2: Cozy Saguaro camp site. Bring your own tent or rent one of ours.

Site # 3: RV Glamping.  Queen size bed with a dinette that can be used as an extra bed for the little ones.

Site # 4  RV, Pop Ups or LQs with horses 

Site # 5 Boarding for Horses or Mules 

Sites 1-3 have their own personal space with seating area, small fire-pit ring and two chairs.  Communal spaces with restroom, grill, table, other seating with larger fire-pit. Feel free to visit our horses, chickens or hike our beautiful trails right from the property. 

Enjoy the horses, the stars at night and our neighboring coyotes sing if you are lucky. 

Our home is close by, the little white farmhouse on the hill.
