Granite Tabernacle Private Views
Snails everywhere
The layout of the area and the views from the site were really great! It was also easy for us to find it in google maps. The convenient access to water was a big plus. I would not stay here again for a few reasons though. There was no smokeless firepit (what appears to be the metal fire bowl in the pictures), just a normal fire circle with rocks. The outhouse did not appear to be recently serviced/cleaned even though the site description says it is serviced frequently. The hosts were unresponsive to messages and I noticed that other campers have had issues trying to contact the hosts as well. The biggest issue was that there were snails everywhere from the time that we arrived in the evening until the sun was fully up the next day. We had to watch every step we were taking and it makes it not a great place for camping unfortunately. Lastly, I was really hoping to see some of the farm animals but I did not see any while I was there.

The Oak Grove Communal Camp
Peaceful. Pleasantly surprised. Nice bathrooms. Friendly people. Great place to get away quickly.

The Oak Grove Communal Camp
The Goats of all Goats!
Truly a sprawling spot. The Oak Grove is a wonderful place for a group to camp or have an event. I would love to come back during one of Splitrocks many get togethers from what I can see on their instagram. We arrived late due to travel, but was pleasantly surprised in the morning to the lush area of greenery, ample space between campers and the lovely surprise of getting to meet the adorable goats! The new glamping spots going up look wonderful and will be back to enjoy!

The Oak Grove Communal Camp
This trip was exactly what I wanted! Ben and Sierra are amazing and have created a true escape into nature. I stayed for 4 days, spent hours hiking without seeing another soul and would come back to the campsite to cook on the fire with whomever I met at the fire pits. I cannot recommend enough, if you can choose the Sound Bath also, such a beautiful experience which I didn't fully recognize until later that evening. 10/10
