Stay here for a day or a week, this off-grid little resort has all the necessities that one would need, and make you want to come back again! We are excited to offer 3 off-grid log cabins, providing a highly private setting. 20 min to Parry Sound. These cabins are located within 75 acres of forest. Each cabin features either two single beds or one king-size bed (bed sheets only). Cabins are equipped with 12 volts DC lights, fan, 300 watts inverter and and 12 volt car chargers to charge phones or other personal devices. The accommodation is limited to two adults per cabin. Common areas for all cabins include: 1) Outdoor Kitchen (includes pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils etc.), 2) Freezer/Fridge, 3) BBQ, 4) Indoor Shower (hot and cold water), 5) Outdoor Shower (hot and cold water) and 6) Toilet/Outhouse with running cold water. The large BBQ is equipped with 5 burners for the grill. There is also 1 side pot burner for foiling water and another ceramic grilling burner. Additionally, we have three tent spots available, with one designated for each cabin. There is ample parking space for guests. You can enjoy the convenience of a shower with hot water and a BBQ pit. Address is 261 Star Lake rd. Seguin. Its the second driveway when going north on Star lake rd. Look for a sign MAPLE RIVERS LANE. From Hwy 400, get off on hwy 141. Go east towards Rosseau. Turn left at Tally Hoe/Swords, then right at Turtle lake rd and left at Star lake rd. Explore the various trails for hiking, mountain biking, and even a small white water creek. There are plenty of lakes in the surrounding area. Seguin Trail is just 1 km away. A beautiful sandy beach awaits you only 4 km from the site. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the nearby historic town of Orrville.

Maple Rivers Log Cabin #2

A little getaway

We stopped for the night on the way to Lake Superior. Such a lovely little find! Dariusz's set up is so adorable and quaint. I'd love to gather family here one summer for a nice get together. Everything was so clean and made well. There was firewood waiting for us at the pit and communication was great. Thank you!

I loved the cabins, the privacy, the hiking trails. Dariusz's was very nice, gave us directions to the hiking trails, allowed is to explore his property and pillage his land for firewood. Definitely, will be rebooking again.

Exactly Perfect

Darius has built some very cool cabins, with comfy beds, and the basic necessities you want! The property was really cool, it was enough in the outback that there was essentially no noise pollution and 0 light pollution so you could see the stars in full tilt! The only thing that wasn't there was cooking pots/pans/utensils (bring your own). There was a Great BBQ with burners on the side, so I was able to boil water without putting the pan on the BBQ! The property was great, there were other people renting the two other cabins who were awesome! The cabins are quite close together, so if you are going for complete solitude you'll have to find a hike or something, or try somewhere more outback. Overall it was an amazing stay, I will definitely be back. Thank you Darius for hosting me!

Peaceful weekend

The host Darius’z welcomed us and took the time to show us around. Overall we had a good stay, would have preferred more privacy in shower as there was a glass door. Besides this everything else was great and cozy
