The property is full of many varieties of native plants, flowers and trees. Above the trees you can see the peaks of Little White. You can enjoy hiking on the High Rim Trail nearby or maybe an off road adventure. James Lake is only 11 kms away for some summer kayaking or paddle boarding and Big White is only 1/2 hour away hosting all the winter fun!. Lots of beautiful areas to explore nearby. Our location tends to be 6°-10° cooler than in Kelowna, which is a welcome treat on those warm summer days. There is also, almost always a breeze. We hope you enjoy your stay but if there’s some way we can make your stay better, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.

We have two tent sites to choose from:- Site 1 boasts a large deck for pitching your tent and enjoying the sacred spot under the eagle's nests (requires a 4WD vehicle to access) - Site 2 has lake views from a creekside forested spot. You need a very dependable 4wd to drive directly to site 2 as there is a steep 40m of a dirt drive.

It has a lovely forest area, alongside sprawling fields that are dotted with beautiful wildflowers throughout Spring and Summer. Another delightful feature of our home is a swamp that displays a spectacular array of bird wildlife in the spring and early summer. A bird watcher’s dream! And, if you are lucky, you may even see deer, beaver, bear, coyote, Marmot, or Western Painted Turtle roaming the property, all have been seen on the farm at one time or another, so keep your eyes peeled! We are close to amenities but are far enough out of town to provide a quiet and restful retreat from the hum and drum of every day life. Summer in the Okanagan.
