Middle Camp &amp; Stay- BERRY SPRINGS

Absolutely loved our stay at Middle Camp Berry Springs, Campsite 1. Such a peaceful, spacious spot with plenty of room to settle in and really switch off. The location was fantastic for exploring Berry Springs and the surrounding area, but it still felt quiet and tucked away from everything. The site was easy to access, well looked after and had that proper relaxed bush-camping feel we were hoping for. A beautiful little base for our time in the area and somewhere we’d happily stay again. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, comfortable spot near Berry Springs!

Beautiful camp spot surrounded by the bush, close to berry springs and the tavern. The facilities were really clean and the camp sites well maintained. The sprinkler had been on before I arrived so the ground was wet, but I had a tarp for the swag, and it came on again at about 5pm briefly wetting my camp (even after moving it out of the way). I especially loved the outdoor shower and having a fire pit available. Site 4 isnt private and you can clearly see site 3, so no real privacy if you wanna get back to nature under the shower, but it was still great. Unfortunately, I had noisy neighbours staying in site 3 who decided to crank their music from about 10pm which was incredibly disappointing. If you want privacy, site 1 looks to be the most secluded from the other sites. Even though there were a few little issues I'd definitely stay again and would recommend this hipcamp!

Lovely place to stay! We were on site 3 on a big site with plenty of room for the kids to run wild. We had lots of space as the sites are spaced out really well. Emma was easy to communicate with and we loved that there was a complimentary washing machine for us to use. Highly recommend!

I loved it. I would have stayed longer if the site was available. Nice modern amenities. Free washing machine. Very peaceful. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the NT.

Overall, I recommend Middle Camp as a location, but not Site 2. Not private. Cars drive past/neighbours walk past to amenities. No bins - made it difficult to manage rubbish with ants & driving off-site to dispose. Sandy dirt patches & not lush green grass like the photos. Constantly sweeping to make sure dirt didn't get into our van & day tent. Ant nests throughout. Ants were crawling all over our day tent, chairs & us. Previous campers left bottle caps & cigarette butts littered around the camp site & al-foil food scraps in the fire which we had to clean up. We raised this with Emma/Shane upon arrival & they very kindly offered us a full refund as all other sites were booked, but after a few hours driving with a baby, the logistics of packing up again & trying to book in to other accommodation at 3.30/4pm wasn't an easy or quick task for us. On the PLUS side: Sites 1, 3 & 4 all grassy and you're able to position your van for better privacy. 5 minutes to Berry Springs & Tavern Power & water hook-up Enjoying a camp-fire under the stars & we were left logs of wood for our fire which was brilliant. Outdoor shower is awesome - we used our pop up ensuite to have some privacy from the road. New amenities are clean, well stocked & in excellent condition. Shower, toilet & (free!) washing machine are all in 1 room.

Middle camp at Berry Springs was the best camping experience we have had sin e being on the road for over 2 months. The grassed private area, water and power, toilet and hot shower facilities, free washing machine, outdoor cold shower at our site and then being so close to the Berry Springs Reserve .....what a winning combination. Telling our friends about it! Oh and a very reasonable price to boot. 5 stars from us!

What a cracking camp, we loved it. We stayed on site 4 & it was lovely & private. A nice touch having the outdoor shower which had good water pressure too. The amenities are great, very clean & well done. They even have a free washing machine but we didn’t use it. Our dog loved the nice green grass. Unfortunately we could only stay one night but will definitely keep this one in mnd for next time & it’s only 5 mins to Berry Springs. Remember to take note of their reminder about the sprinkler coming on in the arvo 😜 You have a lovely quiet small set up here & it’s fabulous. Thanks for having us.

Lovely green grass site, very private and quiet. The outdoor shower on each site was a winner especially in the afternoon heat. Amenities were clean. Great location to Berry Springs and the Wildlife park. The location was away from the main road and very private. We loved our 2 night stay.

Beautiful campsite among the trees and the birds, amenities sparkling clean, spent the arvo at Berry springs which was a short drive away then came back to cook dinner on the campfire. Ideal.

It was a very peaceful location and only 5min away from Berry Springs Nature reserve, Territory Wildlife Park and Berry Springs Tavern. The access to water was easy. The bathroom was nice and clean and well supplied. It would be nice to have more than one bathroom to share with others. We will be camping here again!

Great private camp and site 4. Love the surrounding bushland and nice grassy sites. The only downside for us was a neighbouring dog barking a lot of the first night and campers at one of the other sites being loud until early hours of the morning.

Just like her other camp at Dundee this one didn’t disappoint either. Lovely and peaceful and very private, we had site 4 and couldn’t have been happier. Berry Springs was less than 10 mins down the road and we swam there everyday. Definitely value for money with power, fresh rain water, personal shower and a free washing machine

We loved the spot , camp 1 so spacious. Felt far away from other sites, super private. Brand new clean amenities. We are darwin locals so wanted a chill night not too far drive from Darwin CBD . We went for a swim at berry springs, and enjoyed the convience of being so close to the nature park and bottle shop. We will be back.
