****SUMMER - NO FIRES OR OPEN FLAMES WHATSOEVER!!!! I have a relatively attractive, quiet property with shady, mowed, relatively level paddock and easy access. The Property is located 5 minutes from Geographe Bay (1.5km as the crow flies) and 8 min drive to Busselton CBD and our infamous jetty. Busselton hosts a wonderful array of cafe's, bars and restaurants. Close by are magic beaches, caves and numerous wineries and breweries. Well behaved, non barking dogs permitted. Plse keep restrained unless in the exercise paddock, as a courtesy to other guests. There is a great pooch friendly fenced paddock where they can have a run, chase a ball without fear of running off. Also a smaller run. Plse pick up poo! NO CHECKINS AFTER 6.30PM unless previously arranged at time of booking plse. Guests MUST be fully self contained with their own toilet and shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. No dumping of waste (grey water is fine) on property. NO EXCEPTIONS, sorry. Please top up your WATER PRIOR TO ARRIVING....thank you. NO FIRES OR OPEN FLAMES WHATSOEVER during our summer shire fire restrictions season. Our neighbours value their homes. I welcome you to share my property and ask only that you treat it with respect and be considerate of others. No guests of guests allowed to visit. Apologies...no children due to having a dam. Wishing you safe and happy travels.. Sorry but NO GENERATORS please to reserve peace and quiet for other campers and any surrounding properties. There is no set check in or out time unless there is a site crossover day. I try to keep it as relaxing as possible but plse adhere to before 6.30 or advise time as it is disturbing not just for me but other campers. TIA. Entry is via the SECOND driveway on the right if coming from Busselton side, with green colourbond fence. After coming through gates swing hard left directly into the camping paddock. It is very easy access. Camp sites are designated with vertical tape on the fence and a number. Please park between vertical tapes on site number assigned. Please back into your site and park car across front of van in front, there is plenty of space (not on the side), to give you all plenty of room between vans. If it is holiday season I will allocate a camp site number, so plse ask if not sure. Off season pretty much camp where you like. Happy camping everyone, in my modest but convenient spot.

A 68-acre peaceful retreat nestled within State Forest, a short drive from Donnybrook. We are one of only two properties in this small, isolated pocket. We have three sites available for self-contained campers, and one site that offers bathroom facilities. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Shed Pad with bathroom Shed Pad is a powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed with bathroom facilities, including a flushing toilet. This site is relatively flat, perfect for a couple of tents or two medium/one large caravan. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. Please note, this site has a two-night minimum stay requirement. Base price covers two people.

~~~~You must BYO Toilet (No digging permitted)~~~ Our 2.5 acre property in Dardanup West is a beautiful green space of mostly level grass with some lovely large shade trees. We are surrounded by other small holdings with farm animals including chickens (and roosters), sheep, horses and cows. We also have lots of wildlife including Kangaroo's, Ducks, Ibis, Black Cockatoos and many other birds frequenting or passing through. We back onto Gavins Gully which is an idyllic creek running through ex-farm land. The creek is a great place to spend time with your children making boats from sticks and leaves and watching them sail away. Or maybe enjoy a picnic by the creek and just relax in the tranquillity. There's plenty of happy memories to be made! We get lovely sunsets and if you are up early enough, beautiful sunrises. The evenings are always stunning with dappled light coming through the trees! It is magical and our favourite time of the day when everything is cooling down in summer. Enjoy taking an evening walk by the creek and along the bridal trail or just sitting back and enjoying the sounds of nature with some nibbles and drinks. Make sure to look up at night and soak it all in. Listening to the wind rustling in the trees is one of our favourite sounds and the kookaburras calling in the morning and evenings. We also love to watch and listen to all the different bird callings - you may hear a Boobook owl calling to a mate! We are centrally located to loads of attractions! Check out some of them below: • Bunbury and it's coffee strip, bars and beaches only 15 minutes away • Ferguson Valley with all it's Wineries and Breweries only 10 minutes away • Wellington National Park with it's stunning bush, mountain biking, off-roading, swimming and hiking plus the worlds largest dam mural with walkway across the top only 20 minutes away • Wellington Mills, Gnomesville and Wellington Discovery Forest only 20 minutes away • Crooked Brook Conservation Forest picnicking and hiking only 10 minutes away • "The Paddock" sunflower farm in Crooked Brook only 5 minutes away (January only) • Dardanup Bakery and Tavern only 2 minutes away (if you're looking for a great pie or parmi) • Donnybrook and it's Apple Fun Park only 15 minutes away • Boyanup with it's Rail Heritage museum and regular farmers market only 10 minutes away. • Eaton Fair with it's huge range of shopping opportunities only 15 minutes away • Busselton only 40 minutes away (Dunsborough approx. 1 hour) We don't have any toilet facilities onsite so you must bring your own. There is a dumpsite located in Dardanup (5 minutes away) at the information bay by the railway line and little church. We provide running bore water by tap and an outdoor kitchen sink by our back fence where you will be camping (cold water only). The water is safe to drink and wash dishes in. There’s a rustic outdoor shower (cold water only at this stage). We would love to offer our guests hot and cold showers and a composting toilet one day. These are our goals and the money we make from Hipcamp goes towards achieving these and making your stay more comfortable and sustainable. :) Checkout our extras for power and firewood! Please note we live here too so you will see us around. Our kids are free spirited and love coming to say hello! Being ex-farm land, it's generally an open environment, but we don't have neighbours too close by (100m+). We ask that campers don't make lots of noise after sunset and please avoid shining torches towards our home or our neighbours. NOTE: The camp area is in full view of our home, but we try to respect your privacy. Please recommend us to your family and friends and leave us a review at the end of your stay, so we can keep reaching for our goals to make this place even better! We are open to suggestions on how to make your time here even more memorable. We are new to Hipcamp, so please also take it easy on us.
Camping near Yallingup guide
Overview
Ringed by crashing waves, rolling vineyards, artist studios, and old-growth forests, Yallingup offers picture-perfect views everywhere you look—even underground. Just three hours south of Perth, the town sits on the edge of Western Australia’s Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, between Dunsborough and Margaret River, and above a labyrinthine network of limestone caverns. Meaning “Place of Caves” in the local Noongar language, Yallingup is home to the popular Ngilgi Cave, although most campers tend to stay above ground, with plenty of caravan parks and campsites on offer, from waterfront holiday parks to secluded tent sites in groves filled with peppermint trees.
Where to go
Yallingup Surrounds
Whether you like bush campsites, waterfront caravan parks, or beach camping, Yallingup has it all—though the latter may involve a little hiking, with some of the best tent sites found on the popular Cape to Cape walking trail. If you’d prefer something more luxe, Yallingup is also great for glamping, with family-friendly chalets, quirky bell tents, and kitted-out caravans complete with cosy firepits and swimming lakes. You’ll be close to popular spots like Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park, Yallingup Beach, Canal Rocks, and Injidup Natural Spa.
Dunsborough & Margaret River
On one side of Yallingup, you’ll find Dunsborough, and on the other, Margaret River, Western Australia’s wine capital. Two of the state’s most popular holiday destinations, both have a range of caravan parks, holiday parks, and campsites to suit everyone from families with dogs to couples after a quiet Indian Ocean beach break. Some local wineries and breweries even offer on-site campgrounds, so you can enjoy all the fruits of the land without worrying about how to get home.
Busselton
The gateway to the southwest, the coastal town of Busselton is another popular holiday destination and a great option for campers who want to stay slightly closer to the city lights but still have the bounty of the Margaret River region on their doorstep. Known for its 2-kilometre wooden jetty—complete with train and underwater observatory—Busselton features beachfront caravan parks and holiday parks with fully kitted out camp kitchens, as well as nature-based campsites and hidden chalets.
Blackwood River & Nannup
East of Yallingup lies a (semi) untouched wilderness, with towering karri forests and farmland rolling on alongside the meandering Blackwood River National Park. Further inland, the chocolate-box town of Nannup has plenty to offer, from kayaking and outdoor adventures to campsites next to lavender farms and natural pools in the forest. Barrabup Pool is one of our favorites, although to be a little closer to Yallingup, you’ll find some great camping areas near Canebrake Pool as well.
When to go
The summer months are the most popular time to go camping near Yallingup, with most campsites filling up well in advance, especially between December and February. If you don’t mind a little wind, spring in the southwest is spectacular, with migrating whales passing by and wildflowers blooming along the Indian Ocean coastline. Autumn is usually fairly dry and cool, while the wetter winter months offer quieter campgrounds and national parks, secluded beaches, misty mornings, and star-studded nights around the campfire.
