... Learn more about this land: We have scraped areas , sites 3 & 4. Sites 1 and 2 are raked not scraped. We are offering free Duck and chicken eggs for breakfast or dinner. As well as a free bundle of wood for a fire. WHILE SUPPLIES LAST AND WEATHER ALLOWS. ***Now a bathroom is available*** Want to ride atvs or park and stretch or do some yoga in front of the mountain ? Do it here cheaper than the rest ! I do offer firewood and other extras. Ducks and Chickens onsite for kiddos, also have kiddos. Live the offgrid life for short time. Safe travels ! All areas are MANY yards from each other. Terrain is scrapped for tents but be aware cactus is everywhere. Please check weather for area because the wind can get fierce. Great night views of the stars and 360 view of mountains as well as being at the base of one. Sand dunes and waterfall just 15 minutes away . Please respect the wildlife and property. Pet/420 Friendly. We do NOT charge to camp, charges are for a GATE FEE. You are paying the gate fee THRU HIPCAMP NOW... NO PAYMENT on arrival. Best if GPS is used, but address given after booking. IF AT NIGHT, STAY TO YOUR LEFT ON DRIVEWAY, CONTINUE LEFT TILL YOU SEE NUMBERED SPOTS. FOR DAYTIME, LOOK FOR 3 LARGE WIND TURBINES INFRONT OF A BLUE AND WHITE HOUSE.

Overall a good experience. Close enough to the dunes and Blanca/Alamosa. Space was raked and flat. Host was friendly and available.

Beautiful views and delicious duck eggs! There was a wind advisory and Steven kindly helped us manage our tent to reduce damage to it.

Good for a night

Simple campsite at the base of Mt. Bianca located in the hosts backyard. Weather can be unpredictable considering mountain proximity, the vast open area can get very windy. The four sites are close to one another and just a short walk to the compostable toilet (a bucket and toilet seat enclosed in a wood shelter) Host Steven is welcoming and helpful and provides one free campfire and a couple eggs from his ducks, turkey and chickens. Good night sky viewing.

Site 4 / scrapped

The site is fine. Property is a bit smaller than what I was led to believe, but that’s no big deal. Ended up not staying for a couple reasons: 1) the wind was relentless, and 2) the host’s dogs would not stop barking. If you catch this place on a good day I'm sure it’s a pleasant experience, but we did not.

Site 2 / raked

Site #2 was great! We camped midweek and were the only guests on the property. Quite enjoyed the view of the mountains and the valley, as well as the free bundle of firewood and Steven's generous offer of eggs for breakfast. I'd definitely hit this site to camp when I'm in the area again.
