Great spot.
Lone duck is set at the base of pikes peak so the views are amazing on a clear day. Unfortunately being may, we got some snow. Great location, so close to multiple sights…Pikes Peak drive, Garden of The Gods, Red Rock park Colorado Springs and so much more. But it still felt like you were far enough away that you were in the countryside. Staff was super friendly. Gave us lots of advice on things to see. Hot coffee and tea are ready by 5:30 am and there were hot, hot showers. Everything was super clean. Would definitely stay there again. If you are tenters, there is always a nice warm indoor spot to sit and warm up, have your breakfast and enjoy their complimentary coffee. Awesome experience.
