3 beautiful, unique, and separate camp sites situated on 2 beautiful acres. Tall pines & aspen trees abound, rock outcroppings, hiking trails, disc golf, and a peaceful babbling creek - Turkey Creek! Come unwind at your mountain foothills retreat, just 30 minutes from downtown Denver and only 15 minutes from RED ROCKS! Grocery stores, coffee shops, local restaurants and taverns are just 5 minutes up the road. Whether you're visiting for work, here for play, or escaping from the city, this is the place for you!!
- Give a toss on the 3 disc golf baskets with several tee-boxes carved out throughout the hillside.
- Sit back and relax on the 2 adirondack chairs w/ solo wood stove near the creekside
- Hike the trail system through the property - from easy/level along the creekside, to more rigorous but rewarding hike to the top of the property with the best views of the valley!
- At the top, relax in the second set of adirondack chairs and take in the sunset over the mountains :)
- Composting Toilet in quaint historical well shedOverlook site is situated at the top of the property and can be accessed only via hike-in on well maintained trails, however it is relatively steep. The hike is short, and the reward is well worth it - one large flat tent space situated on a perch overlooking the valley. Come toss a disc on the 3-basket par 3 mountain disc course, have a beverage on the picnic table lookout, relax under the stars :)
(Camp)Keeping Rules:
1.) Parking - please park in the main paved driveway right under the deck - it will be clear. Contact owner via this app if any questions.
2.) Fires - NO fires whatsoever.
3.) Noise - Please be very mindful of my neighbors up top of the property and keep noise levels to a minimum at all times. Quiet hours 10PM (earlier preferred). Noise travels easily and even though you’re in nature, we’re still in a neighborhood. Any complaints will be dealt with swiftly as this threatens my ability to successfully host.
4.) Bathroom - there is a composting toilet in the original historic well house (no longer in use) near the driveway which is available for hipcamp use. Owner will maintain facility/compost toilet. Plug in the overhead spiral lights right inside the door for nightime use.
And last but definitely not least, LEAVE NO TRACE when you depart.
