Desert reset
Such a relaxing place to properly wind down and feel calm! Watched the sunset accross the desert mountains, sat in a warm bath at night watching shooting stars and just chilled out. Will definitely be back! It’s a great spot for artists looking for some time to recharge and feel creative.
Easy to get to Joshua tree national park by car which was amazing. We absolutely loved it. Windy explained to us exactly what we needed to bring and was easy to contact :)

Staying at the campsite in Joshua Tree was an absolute delight! The breathtaking views, serene surroundings, and well-maintained facilities made our experience truly memorable. We'll definitely be returning to this wonderful retreat in the future!

Run don’t walk to book this amazing place that I’ve only seen in my dreams. Comfortable, private, clean, whimsical, had all the essentials & more. Super charming and detailed, I can tell how much care has been put into this special spot. Went in mid April, at night we slept cozy in sweats and didn’t even need the heated blanket Windy provides. 30 min drive to the park. Amazing sunset. 😍🤩 Windy was super responsive as well. WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT✨💎🌙🌈

Unreliable host
The host sent some information while booking, but then ghosted us when we reached there. We drove 500 miles from San Francisco, tried finding the trailer for an hour after reaching and then had to leave as did not get any response. Hipcamp did not provide full refund as well.

Great experience!
We loved it! It was super easy to arrive at night and head right to bed but still feel like we were camping. The truck is so cozy and well set up with a table, butane stove, pots and dishes for 2. We did use the a fire pit too. The communal area has a big sink, table, and an open shower. The saw dust toilet is outside in the open on the back so it’s chilly if it’s windy! There was a propane heater - have it ready to go before you go to bed so you aren’t fiddling setting up when you’re cold at 3 am! We were very pleased with the set up.

Loved my stay here. It’s just like the pictures.
My only complaint was the bed was incredibly uncomfortable lol it’s a very thin pad on plywood. I’ll definitely stay here again but will make sure to bring my air mattress next round.
