Amazing stay here!!!
Man, we don’t even know what rave would even be enough for this amazing little stay! We spent one night here on our way home from TN. The land is very well kept, so clean, and it’s is just a sweet southern charm of a gem. We absolutely love the passion and love poured into this place from the naming after the grandkids to the cute little rabbit chess game inside the cabin. It’s flows with love and that’s what we loved most! The small hike to the secluded cabin was also super fun and that “made” the stay for me. I surprised the kids so they didn’t know where we were even hiking to. Once we came out of the woods and they saw the cabin, everyone just melted. We can’t wait to come back here! There were cooking stuff and we were able to cook both dinner and breakfast. The shower was awesome!!! And we appreciated the very clean outhouse! Our only suggestion would be of you are traveling and there is any rain, to bring your own dry firewood. There was plenty of wood and we tried to have a fire but because it had rained the morning we arrived, the wood was damp so we couldn’t get our fire to stay lit. No big deal to us but if you have to have a fire, keep this in mind. Other than that, SUPER AMAZING!!!

This place is just gorgeous with the creek and the rhododendron (not blooming when I was there but still beautiful) and the woods all around. I was there on a solo trip and felt very safe, especially with the bolt on the cabin door, as wrll as on the bathroom and shower doors, though I never saw another person. In the cabin, there are plenty of LED lights, as well as a USB charging port. The propane stove was a great convenience. There was also every utensil, cookware, cup, mug and dish you could want. No fridge, of course, but a sturdy cooler does the trick. And this is camping, after all. However, it hardly felt like roughing it after cooking over the grill, enjoying a hot shower, and reading in bed with a reading lamp over my shoulder. I highly recommend this camp and I will be back very soon.

PERFECT
Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet but accessible place to stay! We drive a small sedan and had no problem navigating (getting stuck is always a concern)
Jody takes incredible care of the property and everything makes so much sense from a usability and architectural stand point aka nothing on the property is “redneck rigged”. Firewood was provided, inside there was a stove and any utensil needed.
Jody seemed to be working on some new trails and expanding the campsites out, can’t wait to see what the future holds for him and his property! We will be back!

Absolutely perfect. This is the neatest place and I can’t wait to go back! Everything you need to live off the grid is there. Just bring your clothes and food! The outdoor shower was probably my favorite! Instant never ending hot water and great shower head. If you’ve never taken an outdoor shower you’re in for a treat. Completely private and secure.
Thank you J. Moss!!!

Birdie
Off grid for a great price
Jody has created a unique off-grid site. I stayed in Birdie, the tent site. It had plenty of space a fire pit and even a picnic bench. The Honeypot was super convenient and after a day of mountain biking having a hot shower felt great. The only issue would be the tent site is close to the street so you hear the cars and see the headlights shine into the tent.
