Glamping near Las Vegas guide

Overview

While most people are more likely to associate Las Vegas with massive casino hotels than with glampsites, glamping in the Vegas area is possible—it just requires a bit of searching. Glampers willing to stay a bit away from town will find a few options, though most are privately run Hipcamps, as Nevada state parks don't offer much in terms of glamping. Good areas to look include La Madre Mountains Wilderness, just west of town, the Desert National Wildlife Refuge to the north, and even along the border with California. Authentic Indigenous tipis are particularly popular in the area, though campers will also find earth domes and bell tents to choose from, some that are pet-friendly or family-friendly and others that feature picnic tables, full bathrooms, or fire pits. If you can’t find anything in the immediate vicinity of Las Vegas, you may also want to consider looking for something in the Lake Mead area, about a 45-minute drive from downtown Las Vegas.
